This game was going well until I had to make the coffee. The coffee mini game was completely unwanted and only stalled the game for 30 minutes or so trying to figure out what to do next. And because of this, I give We Used To Play Here a 1/5 My rating system: 1 = Horrible game. Don't even look at it. 2 = Bad game. 3 = Average. Its neither good nor bad. 4 = Worth Playing. 5 = Must play!
Hands down one of the most disturbing horror game experience I have ever played! And I have played a ton of horror games! Great work - Full game below 👇 https://youtu.be/QQR66HIPS60
I want to give this game a positive review, but I just can't. The "jump scares" are badly placed and incredibly obvious; all bar one "enemy" has PS1-era graphics so when they do jump scare you, the scariest part is your laughter. Does anyone have any ibeprofen? That granny has a headache. The puzzles can be incredibly obnoxious; not to solve, that's incredibly simple, but to complete. One has you fill in a crayon drawing with no "fill" feature (I did not, in fact, enjoy dragging my mouse back and forth to color in). Others has you doing a simple zaping puzzle, but it sometimes snaps to the metal wire and you have to fully restart the puzzle. A "skip this puzzle" option would be fantastic (also, I feel bad for anyone with shakey hands. Those would be AWFUL to do). The 5 endings are okay, but felt almost AI-generated; granted they're the exact same with different flavor text. Game also needs some QOL updates; after the first ending, a "skip already seen" function would be nice so I'm not speed clicking through text like the pro gamer I aspire to be. The start of the game has no bearing on the actual "Gameplay" you go through; brewing coffee and answering your phone to be a detective. It's not a bad game by any means and I did enjoy the obvious twist (it felt nice to be vindicated), and for the cost? Honestly not bad. They've budgeted it well, I'll give them that. But the pain points, to me, are too big to ignore. If you do pick this up, expect to have it fully completed within 80 minutes.

We Used to Play Here é um curto jogo de terror, com um história extremamente tensa e pesada.
Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim!
