Reviews
good game.
Really really excellent modern beat em up. The fundamentals feel really solid, the enemies work off each other really well, and its length isn't bloated like a lot of its contemporaries. Still easier than the classics, so I think this is probably a really nice onboarding if you want to get serious about playing this sort of game. Has a bit of a modern sensibility in that juggle combos are important, which I often don't love, but I think they're pretty well implemented here. They don't have to be super long, and they usually serve some purpose other than damage, like carrying enemies to a specific place. Just a really well built game. Bravo.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mediocre game and barely worth it even when cheap. The game itself is quite poor but the soundtrack is pretty good. With all the other pixel art games out these days, this is certainly near the bottom of the pile.
Have 20 hours on this game on another platform, got it 75% off then and thought it deserved a full purchase. This became one of my favourite indie, action, and beat'em up games. I just really like the speed and intensity of the gameplay compared to pretty much every classic arcade beat'em up I've tried. It's not a perfect game, but nothing else feels like it. Cons: -Sprite work isn't on the same level as Bitmap Bureau's other games. It kinda looks like an SNK game, but worse. -It's got jank. The big guy is hard to play as and his grab is the worst, which is kind of a cardinal sin for the genre. -The world of the game is bland when it could be a lot cooler and darker. The settings in SoR2 or the original Final Fight obviously make this look like a knockoff. -The way level select works could be improved, because in this case it breaks the achievements. Specifically, rather than letting you select a single level to play, it lets you begin arcade mode from any level. Due to this, a player can begin from the last level, and if they beat the last boss, they get the trophy for clearing the game on that difficulty. Pros: +Gameplay is fast and makes me sweat. +Lots of QoL features that make learning an action/arcade-style game more approachable, like a training mode, and especially the level select. The last level of the game is much harder than the previous ones, so being able to play it individually keeps the motivation to learn as high as it can be. (You'd be using save states to achieve this purpose in real arcade games, via emulation.) +The spirit of classic games is here. The placement of enemies and food in the levels is well thought out, there's a constant high level of tension, and good variety. Much attention has been paid to things like chains and score. +The music goes above and beyond. They hired a professional EDM composer from the UK named Featurecast who specializes in game music, and he knocked it out of the park. I listen to these tracks outside of the game to get pumped up.
This was an awesome throwback... I felt like I was back in the arcade.
Great SNK-inspired beat-em up.
This game is legit, I grew up in the 90s and this feels just like the real thing. worth buying.
A decent beat ’em up with a fire soundtrack
