Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

I LOVE MALE FANTASY XVI!! I love when Clive said "this is the final fantasy" and final fantasied all over the place Also I experienced a lot of stuttering so you probably want at least 10GB of VRAM for a completely smooth experience unless playing on very low settings.
"It was Amazing." - 5 out of 5 rating. Masterpiece status game. When it comes to epic battles, fun combat that never gets stale, much more darker and serious tone versus classic much more lighthearted JRPG style deliveries, this truly awesome medieval power fantasy - it doesn't get much better than this. Sincerely, one of my top all time favorite games. Better than FF7 Rebirth by a longshot! Slightly better than FF7 Remake, which was also fantastic - but ya this one is the clear winner. For everyone who is saying "not my final fantasy" because this isn't turn based and/or party based - feel free to go back and play the pixel remasters over and over again endlessly. You don't see me trying to play games I don't like such as sandbox survival games and then giving them poor reviews. If you already know that action games aren't your cup of tea - don't order the London Fog and then write the restaurant a bad review.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best AU #76, worst BR #100 · 5 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 25.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 20 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10.5 places towards #1, and the 2,491 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Overall Rating: 7/10 Final Fantasy XVI is a visually stunning game with an absolutely massive amount of content. The graphics are easily a 10/10 for me, and the world, monsters, and battles look incredible. I also really enjoyed seeing familiar monsters and summons from previous Final Fantasy games, such as Tonberries, Ifrit, and Bahamut. That nostalgia is a big part of why I play Final Fantasy in the first place, so these returning elements were a highlight for me. However, there are quite a few things that disappointed me. One of my biggest issues is the movement. In my opinion, the character walks around far too slowly, and the lack of a proper sprint makes exploring feel unnecessarily tedious at times. The story was enjoyable, but I would only give it a 7/10. Final Fantasy has had stronger stories in some of its older entries, so while I liked the story overall, it didn't reach the level I was hoping for. The biggest disappointment for me, though, was the combat system. I found it incredibly repetitive and monotonous. Even in Final Fantasy Mode, enemies mainly seem to get a huge increase to their HP, which makes fights feel even longer without necessarily making them more interesting. As someone who really enjoys the nostalgia of older Final Fantasy games, I especially miss the turn-based combat and being able to control multiple characters. I also miss having more ways to customize characters and their stats, such as through systems like the Sphere Grid in Final Fantasy X. Older games also had enemies that could blind, put you to sleep, or apply other debuffs, which made having dedicated healers and different party roles much more important. In comparison, Final Fantasy XVI's combat feels to me like a less interesting version of Dark Souls with abilities. It's flashy and looks great, but I personally found it lacking the strategic depth and variety that I enjoyed in previous Final Fantasy titles. Despite these criticisms, I still had a good time with Final Fantasy XVI. The graphics, huge amount of content, memorable monsters, summons, and nostalgic elements make it a worthwhile experience. Unfortunately, the combat and some aspects of the story kept it from being one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. Final rating: 7/10.
just play it bro

Loved the game, loved the gameplay and the story made me cry. I will play the DLCs soon, and I will probably love them too! But this game had one little, small, giant, terrible issue, you can either accept it or uninstall the game. This issue will make you suffer for the entire time. You will notice it the entire time, you will get mad because of it for the entire time. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m talking about the optimization. I had to run this game at 720p and 30 FPS low/medium with FSR 1 as well, and I still had to deal with a crazy amount of stuttering. THANK YOU! My PC isn’t a beast, but it can run FF7 Rebirth, Cyberpunk, and many other heavier games without any issues.
