FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster

Needs some patches to help it run on modern systems, but a quick google will get you in the right place. X is worth playing and i enjoyed the story. X2 was a no go for me from the moment it started. Just too much in your face and too many changes too quickly.

I first learned of Final Fantasy through Super Smash Bros. Got interested and found Crisis Core FFVII Reunion on Switch. Loved it, so then played the original FFVII, then Remake Intergrade, and finally Rebirth. Now I recently started trying to branch out. Heard of X/X-2 HD Remaster and got interested. OMG I love this game so far! I love how they went back to fully turn-based combat like their first 6 games! I would absolutely recommend this game, especially because the visuals and music are amazing for their time!

My personal favorite FF game, I've played it dozens of times since I was a kid, and now finally playing it on PC I'm strapping up to play it a dozen more. My only gripe with the remaster are the faces. I'm actually okay with the new look compared to the OG (maybe except Tidus' like deep eye sockets) but it's the fact of their being a HUGE difference between the casts super HD faces and everyone else's. Obviously there's always a discrepancy between PC's and NPC quality, but this time there's even more. But the gameplay, exactly as I remember...the sphere grid, probably my favorite leveling system ever...music is *chef's kiss*, I personally recommend playing with the OG music on first, if it's your first time playing, and then using the arranged music in subsequent playthroughs. Yeah, highly recommended, bias aside, it's just like the quintessential rpg, less open and free than others, but the journey and everything else make up for it

Best quote in any game ever: I'm gonna be a blitzball when I grow up! I can't remember how many times I played this game. But I know it has been on PS2,VITA,PS3,PS4 and steam deck. And for good reason, like most final fantasy classics. You can easily play them multiple times. And find new things. 10/10 story,gameplay and setting. They truly dont make them like this anymore.

FINAL FANTASY X tem uma história impressionante, profunda e com reviravoltas, começa como uma especie de "Isekai" em que você conhece o mundo do zero com Tidus. o combate é muito bom pois permite você pensar bem sem te punir com a pressão do tempo, o jogo também te recompensa e incentiva a troca de personagens durante a batalha, onde cada um tem sua função específica (menos o Khimari, que apesar de eu pessoalmente gostar bastante, ele fica bem irrelevante em relação aos outros). O sistema de summons, dos jogos da franquia que eu já joguei, é o meu preferido, você invoca os Aeons como se eles fossem "Pokemons", eles tem turnos próprios e o grupo sai de cena quando eles aparecem. O jogo é bem linear e o mapa só se abre por completo no final do game. Tem uma certa presença de closes exagerados em personagens femininas. A trilha sonora é impecável, estando inclusive enraizada na lore do jogo, mas eu queria uma variedade maior de músicas, principalmente durante o combate. Obs: toda esta avaliação é sobre o FFX, não joguei o X-2
