FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster

Probably my favorite story from a Final Fantasy game... It's beautiful and deals with a lot of things, it breaks my heart seeing that Tidus couldn't fulfill his promise, im heartbroken to a degree that cannot be measured. I loved the story a lot, the characters were great, the voice acting was clunky and funny and the CG cutscenes were really well made for the time. That being said almost everything else was awful for me, the leveling up system, WHY WOULD YOU MAKE IT A GRID, IT'S HORRIBLE just make it like any normal leveling in an rpg, too much grinding... thank god the game came with built in cheats so i dont have to grind spheres or money. let's see what else is bad, oh yea, [strike] the equipment system is just boring and its not one of those game where finding a new weapon is like a big deal is just a weapon with 10% more damage but that's just a nitpick not a real problem [/strike], THE TRIALS ARE AWFUL specifically the Bevelle one, it halts the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pacing of the game to a horrible degree, like bruh we crashed the fricking wedding and now we come to a halt to put balls in the slowest trial so far that you cannot do without a guide unless you want to be here doing things by trial and error for 30 minutes, that's not how you design a puzzle, puzzles are supposed to be about intelligence, or thinking outside the box idk, not about trying everything and waiting for it to work this time... let's see what else, oh, the combat sucks sometimes and not being able to skip cutscenes?? thats the worst thing you can do, imagine having to see a 4 minute cutscene AGAIN because the boss used an instakill attack and you DID NOT KNOW THAT THEY HAD THAT??? IT'S NOT MY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FAULT DUDE, ♥♥♥♥ you Lady Yunalesca. If steam had a mixed review i would give it that, It's a balance between good and horrible experience so I give it a 6/10, still I have to finish X-2 so I will edit this when I play it.

timeless classic

I’m new to FF and thought i wouldn’t like this game. not because the story wasn’t good because I believed every word about it being a masterpiece, i just didn’t think I could deal with the older graphics. I decided to buy it and try it out anyways because it was on sale during the summer sale. i started it and stopped many times because yes i couldn’t get around the graphics. but i tried again and i am only a few hours in so far but im loving it so much. i have already cried and the story is just so well written. i will definitely be completing this game especially because even before playing this i was trying to find THE final fantasy game to get me started. everything is explained so well in this game especially compared to the FFVII remake. i tried that as my first game in the franchise but it gave me a headache and i gave up. NEVER thought i’d get into final fantasy again after that horrible first try, but alas i picked up X and it is just so good in every way. I RECOMMEND AND I WILL BE FINISHING THIS GAME 100%

Le remaster est au final pas si mauvais par rapport à d'autres versions PC d'autres jeux FF (looking at you FF13-2) mais ATTENTION, il faudra patcher le jeu sous peine d'avoir des écrans vert à la place de certaines cinématiques. (heureusement que UnX existe). Au delà de ça le jeu reste limité à 30fps avec des menus à 60fps mais c'est dû à la manière dont est codé le jeu. Rien que pour FFX la collection vaut le coup, mention spéciale à 10-2 qui au final n'est pas aussi mauvais que ce que les gens sur internet disent.

Please fix the crashing issues. <3 (Will change to positive if they do) Hard to suggest a game that doesn't work properly unless you mod it.

First crash after 10 min during first screen of gameplay. That's just crazy and stupid record time... Edit: Next crash 2 min later in the gameplay. I think I could have more fun buying overpriced Lego with that money.
