Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Bloated mess with marvelized slop writing & gameplay that has an obsession in wasting player's time (and I'm not talking about things that are typical for jRPGS). Remake was good, this is a complete mess and a slog to get through. I bought it heavily priced down, but I was still disappointed.
Great game, just dont expect the same story. Its trying something else. Play the og first.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best BR #15, worst KR #64 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 40/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've played the original, and even if it's one of the best of the entire series, I still put it below FFIX, FFX, FFXVI and FFVIII. Said so, the Remake Intergrade and Rebirth are both very good games and in some way they succeed to catch me more in the story and overall gameplay compared to the original. OG FFVII had other vibes that this remake doesn't have, and viceversa. I sitll like both, nonetheless. The little story tweaks and changes are ok, in some ways explain better some things. I liked more Rebirth compared to Intergrade, it's a totally different experience. And I say one thing, Rebirth is a game full of things to do, everywhere. Square Enix literally put an enormous effort and did a lot of work to create this game. If there was a a point in gaming history in which side quests and quests in general felt like a chore in which you just go from point A to point B, in this game, every mini game you do is the right colour we all wanted to let you feel into the quest, like you're really doing something valuable. It wasn't stressfull, it wasn't boring, it was just right, and honestly, this is how developers should treat quest system. There are a lot of "easter eggs" and mini games taken from other Final Fantasy entries, like for example Chocobo Hot and Cold from FFIX. The overall vibes of this game reminded me of FFXIII and FFXV specifically: the sounds, the landscape. All very well put together. As for soundtrack, this one is super solid rock. Square Enix is well known for its music thanks to Nobuo Uematsu and in every entry it's impossible to dislike any of the track. But in this Rebirth I found that EVERY moment, change of pace, battle, region, quest, mini game, literally EVERYTHING has its own piece of music. And also a beautiful piece of music! This game has the most arrangements of the Main Theme and Chocobo Theme I have ever listened to. I like to share some of the tracks I liked: Gongaga Theme, Riding Chocobos in Cosmo Canyon, Queen's Blood Theme. Apart from the well known Aerith Theme, Tifa Theme, One-Winged Angel, Jenova Theme: these are masterpieces. As far as I know there are 300 and more tracks for this soundtrack, it's a lot, thank you Square for this! In the end, I suggest this videogame, yes, I do! I could write about this for ages and never get to the point because there's so much to say about it. One last thing is, don't buy this game if you are frustrated in your life, if you don't have time, if you are addicted to watch 7 seconds video and go on to the next. This game is long, there's a lot of funny stuff to do, and if you like these kind of video games then buy it, otherwise don't buy it. And if you do, at least don't write a review and admit to yourself these games aren't for you anymore. As there are a lot of negative reviews about this game for nothing. So, thank you again Square Enix, thank you Nobuo, I can't wait to see Revelation and a Final Fantasy XVII! In my heart, forever!
Terrible optimization on PC. Every time you turn the camera, take a step, or see anything new the game will stutter. This issue does not exist on the PS5 so it's a lack of care towards optimizing the game on PC
Forced myself through Remake Integrade and I'm glad I did because Rebirth is LEAGUES better than it's predecessor. Remake's linearity is gone and an amazing zone-based open world is now centre stage to explore, and the combat is far snappier, the synergy abilities speed up increase all party member's ATB guages so you feel like you're interacting with everything and throwing spells and abilities way more often. HIGHLY recommend.
They went overbored with the useless side content and despite the overwhelming amount of cutscenes is the main story not longer than 20h+. Should tell you everything you need.
It's enjoyable, but a bit harder to get into at first for me than the first part. The dialogue is goofy... like, more than usual. But the UI is beautiful. The map is beautiful. This whole game is beautiful. And there's plenty to see. Just... the writing can be painful at times.
