FINAL FANTASY VII

Final Fantasy VII ist für mich eines der besten Spiele aller Zeiten. Von der packenden Story über die unvergesslichen Charaktere bis hin zur großartigen Musik und der einzigartigen Atmosphäre stimmt hier einfach alles. Selbst heute schafft es das Spiel noch, Emotionen zu wecken und eine Welt zu erschaffen, in der man sich komplett verlieren kann. Natürlich merkt man dem Spiel sein Alter in manchen Bereichen an, aber gerade das gehört inzwischen zu seinem Charme dazu. Wer sich auf die Reise mit Cloud und seinen Gefährten einlässt, erlebt ein Abenteuer, das auch Jahrzehnte später nichts von seiner Wirkung verloren hat. Ich kann Final Fantasy VII mehr als nur empfehlen – jeder RPG-Fan sollte dieses Meisterwerk mindestens einmal gespielt haben.

И так. 7 финалка на протяжении всего моего прохождения многократно испытывала мои нервы на прочность. Меня до скрипа в зубах бесило ужасное управление и туториалы к минииграм; некоторые несправедливые мобы и боссы; побочные квесты, которые без туториала ни то что не пройти, их даже не найти; проблемная локализация (как на английский, так и на русский язык). Игра сильно устарела и технически, и в плане геймдизайна, и на мой взгляд, устарела даже больше чем 6 финалка. Я не могу рекомендовать её кому-то кроме любителей ретрогейминга, но мне понравился сюжет, персонажи, игровой мир и атмосфера, диалоги и определенное мировоззрение которым делятся игровые персонажи. Мне в целом понравилась 7 финалка Это всё

Finally played it after all these years and managed to avoid looking stuff up and getting spoilers. I was gonna play remake but everyone I know said do this first. I don't have nostalgia for it so, the way it looks was pretty meh. however, The story exceeded my expectations and made up for how ugly it is. SO glad i finally played through it. I can't handle random encounters. They drive me insane. It's like dropping your keys in your driveway five times when you are just trying to get to work. Being able to turn those off are what made finally give it a go. Glad i did. I can't wait to play remake next.

The problem isn't with the game, the problem is with the port, one key mechanic removed and it perplexes me. During a battle on the original PSX/ PS1 release, if you hold down 'Circle', or in this ports case 'Cross', it will auto select whatever is the first command in the menu, and attack. Really good for grinding rather than spamming a button all the time! Any Why on earth did they change the original controller layout. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. It is nice to have the 3x speed, but can be buggy when toggling it in and out of battles. Otherwise, some solid throwbacks to a better time!

It's much better now than it was 27 years ago when I played it first, I enjoy the modding community greatly also. Square is dropping the ball with a lot of the newer stuff, but hey, at least we have this
