Feria d'Arles

A very short, but sweet and funny point and click adventure game in the cartoony, comical vein of mid-90's Lucasarts. Fantastic old school pixel graphics, great animations and nice soundtrack combined with some entertaining writing makes this a perfect little game for anyone who wants their adventure games firmly in the retro category. The puzzles are mostly well done as well, managing to recapture that "wacky" comedy-puzzle feeling of old without resorting to moon logic. Overall: well worth it for fans of 90's Lucasarts who want a short treat.

A game lovingly crafted and with a clear Lucas Arts inspired pixel art style, this delightful jaunt of one young schoolgirl's journey to become a heroic matador is delightful. While some puzzles feel som easy to overthink, the length, music, and puzzles all offer a great time.

Feria d'Arles is a delight. It's a super oldskool point-and-click adventure game for adventure game fans. You are thrown straight into the puzzling without much setup. The game is very short and very small - only about 5 locations - but that helps to ease the pain of what could be some typically absurd solutions. There's only so much stuff to try to use with other stuff, and although it's ridiculous in real life it all makes sense in slapstick point-and-click land. The main character is a cheery young tourist who wants to take part in a bullfight. Her nemesis is a hapless mayor and (eventually) the bull. The jokes come thick and fast, nothing drags out, and before long you're running from the law with a snazzy new haircut, the end. Great fun.

Fun little game. Quite short but i bought it on sale so no complaints. Not overly difficult but very enjoyable. puzzles were fairly original and made sense. Hope to see more from this developer.

A cute & clever callback to the golden days of LucasArts point & click titles. It is, however, rather short. In fact, my biggest hang-up is that this feels like the first act of a larger game. Not to put too fine a point on it, but Feria feels like it ends just as it's really getting started. I sincerely hope Tom Simpson returns to Molly's story. Unfortunately, it's brevity also means there's not much to talk about without spoiling the whole game. The puzzles are refreshingly free of the moon-logic that is often part of this genre. I did, though, get stuck on two small issues, and your mileage on them may vary. The first was the flyer that I never saw (and subsequently wandered around aimlessly looking for) until I looked it up, but that could easily just have been me failing a perception check. The other, though, is the blue cup, which never acknowledges you've filled it with anything. This led me to thinking I had done something wrong, since it lets you fill it over and over again. Other than those two little details, I ran into no problems. Between this and Secret of Hutton Grammar School, I think the developer is pretty good and would love to see more from them.

Juego corto (1:30 hs) pero divertido con buenos puzzles y chistes. El estilo visual es una onda Day of the Tentacle. No mucho más para decir. Puntaje: 8/10
