For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. Centuries ago, a brutal beast of destruction rent the world asunder. In this time of need, the first Immortals came into their uncanny powers, powers so great that they succeeded in destroying the beast ravaging the land, where all else had failed.
To prevent such destruction from ever happening again, the Immortals banded together to form a Council that would enforce order and stability on a global scale, stepping in at any hint of war or chaos.
The Immortals might be vastly powerful, but they are few. Even they can't oversee all of the lands. This is why they rely upon their mortal agents, the Arbiters, to guard the land's people from the more day-to-day dangers they face. Arbiters range over the land, rooting out bandits, unruly monsters, and crooked officials; their word is law.
But one Arbiter uncovers the deepening corruption pervading her own order, and it falls to her to halt the spread of a threat as dire as the brutal beast of yore.
Strongly influenced by games such as Final Fantasy Tactics (original and Advance versions) and Tactics Ogre, this tactical RPG stands on its own as a worthy successor of those classics, bringing a slew of improvements and additions to the tactics genre.

Very FF Tactics style. Extremely fun
This is a tremendous little game. It is clearly and obviously heavily inspired by the classic juggernaut of gaming, Final Fantasy Tactics. But unlike so many other games influenced by the legendary FFT, Fell Seal does exactly what you want from an homage: it takes the core mechanics and features that made the game lovable in the first place and then expands from there, weaving both a compelling original story and interesting new mechanics or options. My one complaint about Fell Seal is fittingly one that can equally be applied to FFT as well: the secrets are a bit TOO secret. The likelihood of being able to fully 100% Fell Seal on your own, without consulting outside resources, feels low to me. Doable, but low. Some of the obelisks you need to interact with are simply too obscured to assume any reasonable player would notice them, even when on the lookout for them, for one example. However I think this is VERY allowable for two reasons: First you can beat the game and receive a satisfying ending without 100%ing it. Secondly, I think this is kind of allowable because, again, FFT, which heavily inspired this game, ALSO included deep secrets that practically required purchasing the guidebook to 100%. So in this case, it does genuinely feel true to form a bit, but also I personally believe games should be developed under the working assumption that a dedicated player can reasonably 100% them on their own with appropriate time investment, rather than under the acknowledgment that players are likely going to consult resources. But I guess that's a preference thing anyway. All in all, Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark is a fantastic game, and I can't wait to see what else comes out of 6 Eyes Studio in the future.
very good game, but need more DLC and mission :D It's like Final fantasy tatic with more improvement, now it just need more story and more adventure DLC.

Música7Acompaña bien; no estorba, no roba cámara.

TRPGs are a "sometimes genre" for me. The lack of exploration and very long battles tend to be negatives for me. But I do still really enjoy some of them (Triangle Strategy). Unfortunately, this isn't one of the "good ones" for me. A couple things really exacerbate the "too-long battles" problem. 1- No in-battle saving at all. I suspect this was an engineering issue they didn't want to tackle, but if there's any genre that *really* needs any-time saving... 2- All enemy units have character builds exactly like you. Complete with main class, sub class, and chosen abilities. Combined with UI issues, that makes it *extremely* tedious to evaluate the battle state and what's likely to happen in upcoming turns. So I often just end up taking a cursory look saying "hope I survive" and passing the turn. Then when I get wreaked because they had some ability I didn't highlight that one enemy and check the 5th page of their stats... They really needed more constrained / visually-distinct enemies with only 1 or 2 moves. I suppose I could just grind boring battles to over-level, but that sounds even worse. Less of a problem, but the art is a bit offputting. The sprite art looks strange (I think they tried too hard to shoe-horn in a 2D bones animation system). But the portrait art is often straight-up ugly. The environment art is genuinely nice though. Also, I played about halfway through the game and the story is a solid "meh" so far.
FFT minus the FF. Tactics Ogre without the Ogre. You get the idea. This is the best Tactics clone on Steam. Tons of options to dial in difficulty to your liking. Lots of familiar gameplay and classes. A good enough story. 100% worth it at full price but often on sale for dirt cheap when it's an absolute steal.
Let's cut a long story short, if you are looking for a Final Fantasy Tactics type game then this is the closest you are going to get. Fell Seal wears its inspiration on its sleeve and doesn't hide it. It implements the whole job system well and there is plenty of scope for experimenting with different builds. One of my favourite features of FFT was the Auto-Battle system where you can see how your build handles a specific fight but you can also use it to play the game for you if you want! The AI behind Auto-Battle is not very refined and I have seen it make some silly mistakes but on the whole it works well. One of the most divisive aspects of the game is the art style. I found it a little jarring at the very beginning but grew to enjoy it as I played. It is certainly unique and I don't think I have come across many with a similar visual identity as Fell Seal. I count myself as a fan of the art style now. As mentioned earlier the great variety of builds between human and non-human characters is staggering, there were times when I felt there was too much especially on the non-human side where I felt less invested. I got through the game with pretty much human characters only which I found more interesting personally. There are a few spots where the game stutters, plot and in some of the battle balancing. On the plot side, if you have played RPGs before then you can see plot twists a mile away. The plot moves at a very slow pace so that one mile plot twist you have uncovered feels like many miles until you get to the scene where it is revealed. Likewise some of the interactions between characters feel forced, for example the antagonistic relationship between some of your party members is not that well developed and interesting to follow. The plot is serviceable to hold the game together but clearly not the focus of the game. The other weakness is in enemies spamming heal and reinforcements at times which makes the battles like inordinately longer than they should, it is a balancing issue which sadly can no longer be fixed since game is not under active development. It is much more of an issue on harder difficulty levels. Altogether Fell Seal is a great homage to FFT and has sealed (no pun intended) a place in the list of games that scratch the FFT itch. It has its flaws but ultimately delivers on the enjoyment front, hopefully the developer has more games cooking in the future. I give it a 7.5/10.
