There's only one detective to unravel this murder turned museum heist... and they're the cat's meow. Interrogate a "colorful" cast of suspects until they cough up hairballs... and the truth. Will you wrap up the case in time for an afternoon nap, and make injustice knead its last biscuit?

About
When the phone rings in the Feline Forensics department, that can only mean one thing... it's time to get your toe beans dirty. In this soft-boiled detective puzzler, assume the role of a crime-crushing noir tabby who's all out of catnip, and utilize your wisest whisker to uncover the truth of this meowseum mystery.
Famously known as the museum's most valuable exhibit, the gemstone's true worth is beyond kitten comprehension.... and now its missing! Rely on deductive reasoning skills to prove that there's no such thing as a purrfect crime.
Mismatched alibis and mistrusting motivations provide little explanation as to how this intricate heist devolved into a grizzly murder. No one is above a carnivorous suspicion, so converse with, and cross-examine them all.
A failed investigation could mean that terrible criminals walk free, and a once-thriving museum will finally bite the dust. The uniquely hand-drawn style of its many displays would be forced to auction.
This is both a feature, and a warning... actually, no pun is off-limits. Its honestly an excessive use of groan-worthy humor. Chuckle (or cringe) while enjoying the smooth jazz soundtrack composed of saxophones, plunger trumpets, and speakeasy pianos.
Assemble a conspiracy board to track all your leads (without red string, it would be too distracting)
Examine an array of crucial evidence (and swat off the table, probably)
Keep a binder to track every witness testimony (and make those suspects squeal)
Fill-in-the-blanks of your investigator's journal to crack the case (and dispense feline justice!)
Adjust text speed, turn on puzzle assistance, or use dyslexic-friendly fonts as needed
Silly interpretations of famous artwork (parody law please protect us)
And, of course, play as a cat detective (wearing a full suit and tie)

I loved this game. Yes, it could be a bit troublesome at times, not knowing when I had too still find clues or just figure out the blanks. But all in all, this game is both so cute and fun. The art style is nice, the puns are funny and the story is quite interesting. I want more crimes for the Detective that he can ____!
This was a really fun game. Cute characters, a fun little mystery, and a lot of thought put into the parodies of famous artwork. There are a few moments where what you're supposed to do isn't exactly intuitive, but I was able to work through it all without any walkthroughs or outside help. Some of the bugs did also make gameplay a bit irritating, but it seems that the developer is actively working on patching them so that should improve with time.
A fantastic cozy detective game that gives you the right amount of challenge while also rewarding you to make your own choices in some regards. Excellent game, 4 paws up from my cats, and I hope Nobody Crown keeps creating as I’ll keep buying the games. Shout out Kinda Funny Games for putting me onto this and I loved seeing them get a special thanks in the credits!
A cute and well-done little deduction game with an unfortunately frustrating control scheme. A certain late game plot twist surprised me so much it almost jumped me out of my skin, but I very much enjoyed the twists and turns and how the case keeps building both in complexity and in scope of the crime. I also appreciate the game giving you options on who to arrest at the end - similar to duck detective. The "fill in the blanks" reports don't always give you enough context for what you're supposed to be focusing on, but by now there are some very good hint guides available that help you along without spoiling or solving the whole thing for you. I recc it for any deductive fan who'd like a bit of a challenge, and who doesn't mind controlling the game with both hands on the keyboard (or a controller)
Charming and mysterious! I enjoyed getting to the bottom of the story and closing the case. The mad libs-eque reasoning felt very unique, and the variety of characters seemed well-crafted.
This game is perfect for those who love duck detective but want a little more content and more challenging puzzles for your Money! Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery follows "the Detective" who has a tendency to enjoy a milky drink a little too often. The whole game is in black and white graphics to give it that old fashioned detective style movie vibe, however the artifacts and other decorations give the occasional pop of colour which works amazingly. I actually found this colour scheme to be really relaxing while playing and prevented me feeling overwhelmed by all the surroundings in a busy museum. The nicknamed witnesses gives the game a clueless vibe as we never learn the true identities of any of the characters. Additionally the mystery was quite complex with several mysteries taking place at once and often overlapping with each other, leading to a range of possible endings. Achievement Hunting Info: Completed - Yes! Missable - Yes around 3/22 are missable Time - Around 6hrs Multiple Playthroughs? - Technically no - Just hit continue after getting the first ending to pick a new ending. Playstyle - Casual playstyle and maybe look at a guide to check on the missables or if you get stuck on a puzzle.
I have only played about 5 hours of this game over the course of two streams, but we're all having a lot of fun with it. The art style is inspired, the humor excellent and the mystery sufficiently twisty to keep us guessing. I haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs yet, which is fairly impressive for a new release. I'd say if you're looking for a chill logic puzzle game with genuine style and wit, you can't really go wrong here. Disclosure: I did receive a free key for this game from the developer, but I have played long past my commitment just because it's fun.
THIS GAME IS SO GOOD I love it so much it's so silly! I love that it actually took a little bit to understand things and nothing was too obvious from the start, Devcats never miss please consider doing more Feline Forensics games in the future it could be a really fun series of games! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
A fun and actually challenging puzzle game.
Absolutely delightful. Sometimes triggering the additional inspection in the object view is finicky, but overall the game is very fun to play and pretty intuitive.
