Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery

Great detective game, pretty cool mechanics and characters.

Loved the game, a short, funny and nicely drawn little puzzle. Price is perhaps just a tiny bit high for its relative shortness. But overall it was very satisfactory, especially for a fan of Duck Detective.

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD I love it so much it's so silly! I love that it actually took a little bit to understand things and nothing was too obvious from the start, Devcats never miss please consider doing more Feline Forensics games in the future it could be a really fun series of games! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

The Good: The game is really cute and it has lots of character. you can really feel the love put into the art. I enjoy a good mystery similar to the duck detective series but with a more serious theme to it. They put in an "easy" mode to it that is just fills in the blanks in the book for you so things don't stay frustrating if you can't figure it out. The writing is okay but the jokes were pretty funny and I really enjoyed that the characters could lie so you could call it out later. The Bad: The story ending is just not that great which is unfortunate cause it really was setting it up for a knock out but by the end it just felt bland and unsatisfying. closer to the end it just becomes a big guessing game both in the book and for what to trigger next scene. everything is interactable and not every time will they pop up that something new was added to their/its dialogue so you had to run around the entirety of the museum looking for the new bubble to pop up just to need to call someone out on a lie on a book or have to go outside to call the police station for evidence. I still recommend it because it doesn't cost an arm and a leg and was overall fun to play. TLDR: starts good but turns into a frustrating guessing game by the end.

A fun and actually challenging puzzle game.

duck detective if it was actually good in all seriousness, it has a few rough edges here and there (walk speed's a little slow, pretty significant amount of backtracking, not having categories for the longer fill-in-the-blank segments makes some of them more frustrating than they should be) but I was very charmed overall. a genuine love for the arts and noir-style mysteries and figuring out what would drive someone to get into crime shines through, and I had a great time seeing the mystery through

This game is a solid 8.5/10 for me. The writing is fantastic, and I love the sleuthing gameplay. Filling in the Detective's notebook is satisfying and not just a copy-and-paste type of fill-in-the-blank. It's not as easy as clicking everything and talking to everyone, either, though you'll definitely need to do those things. The vibes are phenomenal, too. The main weak area for me was the sound design. This game could do with some more music and sound effects. I like what's here, I just wish there was more. This game is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon or two. At half the price of a movie ticket, I feel it's worth its full price.
