Feed The Pit

Inscryption meets Battleship, with a compelling atmosphere and narrative to boot. A bit short for the price, but still very much worth it (even more worth it depending on how act 2 and 3 turn out). My only nitpicks are that there's no FOV options, and that this game only partially works on Steamdeck despite feeling like it should be fully compatible with some minor UI tweaks. All that aside I can't stop thinking about this game, and it's a strong contender for my personal 2026 GOTY. This game deserves way more attention than it's currently getting and I hope it gets more traction as time goes on.

Pretty fun. Interesting story. Not complete as of this review, there's one act right now that I completed in just three hours and two on the way. Might be more meaningful to wait until later if you care about that kind of thing. Game is more or less "Minesweeper" where you try to figure out where a target is and eliminate all the possible locations around their actual location. There's also an additional gimmick on each stage in the form of a monster with rules that you have to juggle while at the same time moving between points to gain more means to remove possible locations and narrow your focus. It's not bad, but I do wish I had paid more attention or that this had the "Early Access" tag, as I would rather have had the complete experience immediately instead of having to wait and check in later, especially with no roadmaps in place for these acts.
