About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

> The playtest of Fatekeeper is absolutely unbelievable in terms of graphical fidelity. The dark areas (i.e. caves, dungeons, cellars) are truly dark, and without a torch, can become pitch-black darkness. The long distance views are to die for. Even the enemies have great visual design, and incredible ragdolls when falling down hundreds of meters of cliffside! > For my playthrough, I played on a EVGA FTW3 3080, and an I7 11700k (full spec breakdown in my profile bio). I faced no bottlenecking from my CPU, as my 3080 sat happily in the >90% range for the majority of the playthrough. Netting me an average of ~80fps on mostly all max graphics, with the exception of Global Illumination set to High instead of Ultra, what I believe is the lower of the two Ray-Tracing options. > The combat, at its core, is quite rudimentary, handling similarly to Dying Light. There are light attacks, heavy attacks, blocking, combos, secondary abilities, kicking, and most importantly, *dodging.* Combat is not forgiving, with a huge importance on Stamina. Often overwhelmed by the number of enemies, it helps to kite them around obstacles to face them one at a time. > The biggest complaint I have, which seems entirely fixable, is the balance and pace. I absolutely love the quiet, slow sections. Walking through a decrepit catacomb-- torch in hand. It is simply movie-like. However, due to the nature of the movement, dodging is always the right answer. Archers relentlessly shoot at you, causing you to dodge non-stop in order to avoid their attacks. When facing a large group of Melee-based combatants, the archer would continue plinking away at me until I inevitably died, or had to fallback behind a pillar to take care of the others. Another complaint I have has to do with the largest boss you will face. Without spoiling it for any would-be player, the largest boss is ridiculously difficult to defeat. His moveset directly opposing your own, making dodging once again the safest and only option. Stun-Locking you should you fail to dodge properly. TL:DR for anyone looking to buy > While this is only a playtest, it is VERY promising! It looks absolutely amazing, combat that is easy to learn but hard to master. It is unforgiving in combat, with an emphasis on conserving your health and stamina, and timing your attacks properly. Most impressively, made by just 13 people! Well done, Paraglacial!

Latência chegando a 200ms. Vamos aguardar.
Bottom line: First, Heck yeah! Get the game...very fun and challenging playthrough...I found myself not wanting to stop. > The game essentially walks you through areas with a boss of sorts at the end of each...you explore, fight, traverse, you can backtrack, etc. Pretty fun Graphics: Holy crap! Wonderful! I found myself wanting to screenshot the scenery lol...love it... Performance: My rig is a bit long in the tooth, so I wasn't sure how it would work...but it played VERY well without any DLSS or anything, on ultra settings...I set it up to DLSS just to make sure fps didn't bother me...but it seemed to work great Gameplay: It strikes a good balance between hack and slash and overly complicated real life-esq gameplay. You block, guard, attack, etc. You can utilize strategy where needed...it wasn't overly difficult, but the first 'horned boss' had me wishing for a difficulty setting lol. Having said that, it highlights that it isn't a pure hack and slash and you have to use some strategy to take out certain enemies. RPG: This game doesn't have any actual role playing at the moment, no other people, just you and your trusty rat. That being said, the gameplay is phenomenal! ** Warning: the game is clearly in early development, so go in knowing that...but absolutely worth the price of admission. Bottom line...you should buy it now before release when the price will likely jump up. This plays like a AAA game...I enjoyed it. Complaints: I wish more cool weapons and such were available...more drops (maybe be able to pick up the enemy's weapons. Maybe some indication of death when you fall...I fell through the floor at one point and didn't see any animations, just a died-sequence and back to the camp (I am sure this is just an early-game thingamabob). I am also not a fan of the skill tree...and adding damage didn't seem to change anything until I invested 3 points...and then it just added 1 point of damage...but again, early access ...oh yeah, and really REALLY wish it had controller support. As an old school kb&m gamer, it was just dusting off some old skills...but it would've been more fun to sit back and play with a controller (test out my new steam controller with it lol) FUN GAME, can't wait to see the final release!
Interesting game. Gorgeous graphics and interesting map/world. Combat needs a bit of work. Clunky and fighting against many opponents ( or ranged ones ) is a bit of a chore. All in all interested in the end result.
Combat has a lovely weight to it i love smacking a goblin in the head with my ice greatsword and watching them go flying from the inertia or lose a head or limb on a killing blow it's early access but it feels good to fool around in and i look forward to whatever comes next also kick + ragdoll = funi
its fun, but not knowing how the controls work makes it hard becous i dont know how to swap to heals. and all interactible things like barrels and boxes are empty making it just destrutible for no reason, but besides that the combatt is fun.
FETZT fürn 10er absolut ok
