About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Reviews
Love the overall vibe of the game, can't wait for updates
Positive review, for now, since they released the game as a cheap early access game with the idea of raising the price the more they finish. This lets them secure money as they work, and I'm all for it Absolutely HATE how there is no controller support. Stop slacking

Stutters lags and pops on my potato laptop on the lowest settings. That's my fault. What isn't my fault is the terrible level design, poor exposition, and marshmallow soft enemies. This game wants to be another Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. It doesn't quite hit the same spot for me, however, and I recommend for anyone who likes this kind of game to play Dark Messiah or Elderborn instead.
kha hay va la! cho cap nhat them
It's like an updated version of Dark Messiah - lots of exciting environmental ways to off enemies. Potentially very interesting crafting system allowing you to choose the potion/oil effect by combining ingredients. Best optimised UE5 game I have ever seen - actually looks and runs like what we were promised years ago.
У игры есть потенциал судить строго смысла нету ведь это ранний доступ. А так если кому-то охота побегать поделать скриншотики то можно и взять сейчас
The most beautiful game I've ever played..and it was $10. Insane. The combat and physics are really cool. I played for 7.5 hours and took my time, but theres prob about 4-5 hours of gameplay so far. I had a blast playing and i absolutely got my monies worth. I can't wait to play once theirs more content.
Very good foundation so far, will definitely be keeping an eye out for substantial updates. Currently there's 2-4 hours of game, so consider that accordingly when purchasing. The Best Elements: - The main goal of physics based combat and reactive enemies is here and it's great. Kicking enemies over never gets old and the dismemberment is impressive. - The graphics are *gorgeous*. This is unironically one of the best looking games I've ever played, and the first time I've ever seen a live game match the graphical quality shown off in a UE5 tech demo. Runs well too, although I have a very good pc. - I'll need more time and content with it, but player gear and skills are nicely set up. Definitely will be cool to see how powerful you can get down the line. The Bad/ Needs Work (Obvious Disclaimer that the game is EA, so these problems can be fixed): - By far the worst aspect of this game is the sound scape and sound design. They already mentioned improvements to this are coming out in the August dev log, which is good cause it is very obviously the most unfinished part of the game. So many sounds are straight up missing. Throwing an object with telekinesis at an enemy? No sound for the impact. Enemy throws a gas bomb at you? No sound for the impact. And the sounds that are there aren't good quality. They seem very crushed and low bit-rate with I actually thought was intentional at first to evoke the retro feel of Dark Messiah but it obviously clashes with the fidelity of the rest of the game's presentation. And the weapon sounds are unacceptably weak for a melee combat game. The kick sounds decent enough, but the weapons feel like slapping the enemy with a pool noodle sound wise. Play something like Darktide or Chivalry 2 after this just to compare weapon impact sounds and you'll see what I mean. - Still in sound, the music is extremely repetitive and the loops are short, you can also hear the loop in the music. I think there's 5 tracks in the entire game, counting the menu theme, and only one 1-minute loop for every combat encounter, including bosses. This is another thing the August dev log said they will address this by adding more music and variation, thank God. - Some enemies are a spike in difficultly or just annoying to fight. This is sometimes not helped by encounter design, but it's basically impossible to get past poison grenadiers without taking some damage. They throw at the same rate as rock throwers which seems very busted to me. The archers are also pretty frustrating, you can more easily dodge them technically so you can "skill issue" this compliant if you want, but when there's more than one of them and they are pressuring you alongside other foes, you will take damage. The fact they are unblockable is kinda annoying, less so by itself and more that you can't pick up any shields to combo with a one-handed weapon to get close the distance or protect yourself. The other enemies have perfectly good ones, why I can't pick one up? - No controller support currently, but that will happen at some point. All in all, the game is good for what it is and the state that it's at, and has a great core. I definitely want to see how it gets built on, but I imagine it will be a long road.
I want to love this. The bones and skeleton of a 10/10 game is THERE. But the TOTAL lack of mana regeneration is terrible, especially given that you have a full skill tree to specialize in magic. Some major difficulty spikes in some areas is offputting and irritating. Now before you think, "this guy sucks and needs to get gud, " I have all achieves in Elden Ring and over 1300 hours in that game. I've played and beaten nearly every souls-like. And even they aren't as difficult as some parts in this. If we just had passive mana regen, with skill points we can assign to ramp that up as we dive deeper into the magic specs, I'll be much happier. Until then, it's a no for me. I wish I could do a "sortof" or "maybe."
