About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

I'm really enjoying this game so far. I love how it looks, I've not had any issues with the gameplay, and the skill tree looks very promising and broad. If you're a fan of Elder Scrolls, you'll probably enjoy this. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/YzKyDeJ9AMA

It's unbelievable that a a group of people who can make a game look this awesome are unable to figure a way to let it work with a controller. A shame. Think of how much more money they can make if only they implemented that feature.
Amazing game only down side is no ranged weapon besides magic which has around 50ft of range and does very little damage. But the game feels like Dark Souls, Skyrim and Path of Exiles combined super fun
au top
Seems like a great concept so far. After about 4 hours i got to the end and I felt pretty satisfied with what i had. The voice acting was well done and the sound design was pretty great. Multiple times I actually stopped and said out loud, "oh that water sounds great." or "the ambience in here is sick." Genuinely felt like I was listening to one of those asmr ambience videos on youtube of like a stream or a windy forest and I had to make sure youtube didnt autoplay into one. sounds crisp. There is a torch mechanic for dark areas and while there arent many areas it's entirely necessary there are a few areas where it is DARK. The game really flexes it's graphics. Congratulations Fatekeeper, you are the first game to make me notice any noise on my stealth rig. Combat is fun. You have one of two equipped weapons in hand which you can switch between with a button press while also being able to sling spells out of your left hand. Hit's feel hard, especially given the physics. I would say that dismemberment needs to be expanded. Limbs are nice, but something like this feels like it needs something like slicing a torso in half like the witcher, ya know some brutal ♥♥♥♥. Many say that the kick is too strong. While it is VERY strong near a ledge, every time i employed the good ole "THIS IS SPARTA" technique, I would nearly always have to suffer a damage trade as punishment. I'm sure you could time it better than me but I think there is something to be said about being a badass paladin/barbarian/druid combo and taking a hit to send a whole ass man off a cliff at mach ♥♥♥♥. You have 4 spells at your disposal thus far: Firebolt, Icebolt, telekinesis, and wind blast. all pretty self explanatory and all feel pretty solid. Wind blast and telekinesis can send low tier enemies flying, make mid tier enemies quick stagger, and generally don't do anything to the chonky bosses. I found myself sending alot of fireballs as I liked setting an enemy on fire (which took one or two casts) then swap to another enemy to let my mana come back up. Ice bolt was good for the cc as a few of those could freeze enemies in place. The skill tree is a great concept however it kinda felt like my skill points didn't actually help a whole lot. Like i said i went far into spellcasting. I went for max mana, a small bit of mana regen, and spell power for fire spells. I can confidently say that it felt like my fire bolt did not improve in any way over the course of the EA. I would also argue that passive mana regeneration needs to be a part of the initial spellcaster focus node. It felt bad to have to eat up half my levels to get passively regenerating mana at all when I had already committed myself to said playstyle. I think pumping the numbers on each skill might help, though I may return and change this opinion. I want to see how a melee focused build fares.
Loads of Fun! give it a try
Honestly, I pretty good game for the Early Access. Obviously the bugs were a little annoying. The sound was one that I kept noticing. Other than that. A great game. Excited to see where it goes from here.
