I kinda had high expectations when I saw other reviews saying it reminded them of the Dragon Age Series. As a hardcore DA fan I wouldn't say it's... [i]origins level good.[/i] . I don't really understand the comparison really, besides like basic fantasy setting? Bizarre, really. I will say that some of the humor is weirdly put in the story? Sometimes it makes me chuckle, other times I'm cringing asking why the writer felt the need to add such weird commentary. Honestly the ending felt a bit iffy, straight up reminds me of an almost carbon copy ending of another anime I've seen, I can't say if it's intentional or not though or just a weird coincidence. I'm sure the author did put a lot of effort into it, I know how hard coding is on a COG game but I just really can't recommend it. Left me feeling underwhelmed.

This was... interesting. Not sure how else to put it, as the story went around and around, full of twists, and well... I'm not sure if I ended up with the girl or not... Still, was an interesting experiment.

Now, you'll see in the other Reviews that the "choice matters" tag is indeed a bit misplaced. However, this Story is still very well written and beautiful, and you can sink multiple hours into it. It's like reading a really good book. Obviously, this also means, that whoever is looking for a real 'choice of game' like 'Choice of Magics' or the like, is better off not getting this one. But if you dont mind a good Story regardless of the above, you'll enjoy this as much as I did!

Honestly, the ending is ruining the entire game. I actually got angry at it. Before, it is a decent game, but choices matter little, the corruption bar does nothing and its often hard to guess what the choice for your allignment is. Beside that its standard stuff. But then you get hit with a ending that straight up tells you that everything has been pointless and completly negates everything that happend bevorhead. And then you get an epilouge that is based on the renow statt and discribes something that has almost nothing to do with the game before. This would have worked better, it it would have been the story about revenge and its price that it seemd to be at first. This is honestly not worth the money.

Wow. This story was just great and I won't spoil anything but the replayability is tied into the story. This game is honestly a masterpiece. I liked this game so much that I felt compelled to write my first review. The only downside about the story i found was the willingness of every female to throw themselves at you. That isn't neccesarily a downside if you're into that kind of thing, but I would personally prefer more of a challenge. 10/10 would recommend if you like good stories with lots of twists, interesting characters, and a broad scope of character choices.

***This review has spoilers*** I wholeheartedly recommend Fatehaven! Through my experiences with Fatehaven, I was left unsure whether or not my choices were "right". Nevertheless, it is well written to developed itself into multiple separate story branches. This game has numerous areas where the reader is mindblown. For example, the villain was actually trying to save the world. Given the choices of four different elements, the main character can be shaped by the readers' preferences. Your skills, background, and the overall ending will depend on the choices the reader makes. The main character can develop different personalities, but all these decisions will shape what the "real" future will be. However, this gets even more interesting as all your reiterations to save the world is another essential plot of the story. The "true" ending of the time loop ending and how it took those many reiterations to save the world is another mindblown moment! The time loop at the end has hidden choices that led to the "true" ending. After finishing the game, I got renown of 14 which is spectacular. The ending I received was "It took decades of hard effort, but the public's opinion changed, and magic was once again seen as a force of good in the world. It was often thankless work, but the mages ushered in a new era of rediscovery and free thinking. They lived a long and happy life together. "

This is just very horny in a very, very stupid way. (Like low brow anime) and every time I hear breasts called teats and teenage girls called blossoming flowers I throw up just a little in my mouth. (not because I am against erotica but just because this is so incredibly tasteless)
