About
FASCIST is a roguelike FPS tower defense where you stand as National Guard and defend the American flag from waves of foreign invaders, domestic agitators, terrorists, gangs, and every other agent of chaos trying to tear the country down. Fortify positions, build defenses, unload precise firepower in raw first-person combat, and make sure Old Glory stays flying. Every run is quick, brutal, and demands you hold the line or get overrun.
This game is not a masterpiece.
It’s a janky, stupid videogame.
But it’s fun, funny, and won't waste your time.
It wasn’t funded with your tax dollars through some shady DEI government slush fund.
It wasn’t made by neofeminist commies who used positions they didn’t earn to lecture you about how capitalism is evil, call you a fascist for disagreeing, and then charge $30–$60 for a “game” that has zero gameplay.
It wasn’t designed so theater-kid game journalists could “play” it for the story, cry about how they finally feel represented, and hand out glowing reviews while real gamers get nothing but a 30-hour struggle session.
Games used to be punk rock, now they all just claim to be.
They weren’t fake-edgy mainstream commie propaganda.
You loaded the damn thing up, played a round or two, laughed with your friends, HAD FUN, and went on with your actual life.
Because gaming is a hobby, not a cult.
If this game is not for you, if you don't like the low-poly art style or the gameplay or the humor or the patriotism (nah f*** you America rules), there are 100s of solo developers and small Indi teams that would love for you to try out their games. Most have published games that are dirt cheap and are genuinely entertaining but can't afford marketing. And almost all of what you are seeing promoted on social media is disingenuous, art-by-committee, corporate slop that lies about coming from a "small indie studio" and has too much money backed behind it to take risks in ways that would genuinely give you a new and worthwhile experience. Do a quick search. Try something new. You won't regret it.
About COOP:
4 player co-op will be available at launch, but it will most probably be buggy. I thought it would be a fun additional feature to add to the game, but testing has been a bit of a nightmare. I'm a solo dev, so I can only test it so far on my own, and paying testers to work on a $2 game is not really feasible, especially considering the fact that goofy little games like these typically don't earn much money back and Steam takes a 30% cut of the profits. But it will be available and I'll be patching it as bug reports come in from players. If this is a main reason for you to get the game, I'd recommend you hold off and wait for it to be clear of any major issues.

Game isn't that bad, but was expecting coop to be functional.
OMG, love it, lol.
Works well enough on handheld. Used a rogbox ally
***EDIT*** HE FIXED MY COMPLAINTS. OLD REVIEW BELOW: I REALLY wanted to like this game. Here are my notes: 1.) The sounds, god I can't get over this. Normally I don't care about such things, but in this case NO SOUND would be better then what they have here. Can't we have normal gun firing sound effects? The light almost unhearable puff of air sound is so damn weird when you fire a gun. Annoying. Again, normally I don't care about sounds but they are so "off" here, it's the first thing your gunna notice. And it isn't just the guns, it's EVERYTHING! Like none of the sounds make sense, and then there an annoying reoccuring sound that happens in at least in this current version of the build. First I thought it was because my base was under attack, but I don't think it was that. It's just consistent, and consistently awful noise. Please, I can't stand it. I want to play with the volume off. Just fix the sounds, you can do it in under a day. Without normal sounding guns, it feels like you are hitting em with freaking air my guy. Not bullets. You feel weak, and not doing damage. It makes you not want to play. I'm serious. I never knew sound was this important, and this game is changing my whole world view. 2.) Some random thoughts.. The graphics are weird, and quirky! THATS okay! I like em, no problemo. The mexicans are literaly jumping beans with somphreos okay that almost got a laugh. You got many unlockable levels, looks like you put an overwhelming amount of work into the game! Good! But no one is gunna play em when it sounds like this. God, I can't believe I'm talking about the damn sounds again. Why would you make a game you worked so hard on, and fail so miserably on something so simple like having normal sounding weapons and enemies. The music is at least great. 3.) I think the genre, and the execution is good. I again, think the graphics will turn off most, but that's not what does it for me... Its obviously the sound, that hurts the game the worst for me,. But the graphics arent great, they are extremely low poly. And I'm into it, if the sound was fine. But it's not. The sound is a turd. A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ STINKY SMELLY TURD. They don't make sense! NONE OF THEM DO, it makes the whole experience non-cohesive. I didn't even get far, because of this. I didnt' want to play because I felt weak, the game started off to slow, the first wave was so easy that it no challenge or concentration was needed. So I just blew past it, in a few minutes, and was like - wow- that was a lot of wasted time. Now I got to wait 30 seconds for the next wave to show up. For what? As far as I know there is no shop to take up that time. Maybe there is, if there is it was presented to me in any tutorial or let me know. Why is there a 30 second wait time between monsters? I got to sit there with my ♥♥♥♥ in my hand, bored out of my mind, every time I clear an easy ass wave? It just didn't seem fun. So I quit. I'll play it one more time, mayyyyyyybe. 4.) This game had so much potential. A right-wing go eff yourself attitude game, that doesn't give a f? SIGN ME UP! Finally a game with balls. But, no, there is no jokes other then the bouncing beans. And graphically, they looked misplaced. Because everyone else stood on two legs. It's not only weird, it's an inconsistent style. And I don't care about graphics, as I said. And I don't usually care about sound either. But this particular package is off putting. 5.) The game is fixable. But in this current state, I'll give it a negative. But if they fix it, and I'll try it again later to see if they do - I'll fix the review and make it positive to reflect. Because I hate when people review games and not realize it's so easy to fix the minor gripes in an afternoon. The game isn't lost. 6.) I'm sorry for giving it a negative, but this game is like a 4/10 right now. Oh and another thing, I don't know if it's my computer soley. But I had hard time running this game. WHY? It's so low poly? MAKES NO SENSE it runs like garbage. And the textures are so simple. Is this poorly optimized, it must be! Just getting to the menu it was choking? HOW BRO? I got a 1660 it should be able to handle low poly renders like this.
Im gonna give it a thumbs up just for the premise, but it runs like ♥♥♥♥, and i wouldn't buy it unless it was really worked on and optimized....
This game is is everything i hope it would be. Singlehandedly saved my 4th of July!
10/10 life changing game
Don't get me wrong, the game is mega based. But God the gameplay is so slow (and I play extraction shooters)! God Bless America, maybe I'll rebuy if the dev improves the game.
Love it! Keep up the great work! Few ideas to make it even better. 1. Toggle Run 2. Shoot church bell to skip countdown 3. DONATE BUTTON ON MAIN SCREEN!! 4. Map A button on controller to JUMP 5. BE able to select more than one PERK before you start CHEERS ! ! ! I absolutely LOVE watching the NPC'S loose their minds in the comment section!!
