Build and Advance - Construct over 190 different buildings as you grow your town from a fledgling settlement to a bustling city. Your town center and housing will advance through multiple building tiers as the prosperity and desirability of your town increases and advancements are made in a vast 140+ point Tech Tree. Most Detailed Farming System Ever - Strategically select from 12 crops with unique growing characteristics and configure crop rotations to maintain soil fertility, avoid heat and frost damage, and prevent the accumulation of diseases. Cultivate your fields over time, removing weeds and rocks, raising fertility and adjusting soil mixture to achieve maximum crop production to keep your growing population fed.
Advanced Town Simulation - Villagers actively live their lives and perform their jobs in real time. Watch as villagers carry goods across town from remote work-sites to be processed into materials and crafted into items. See foods and goods delivered to homes, the trade post or stored for later use. Develop roads, transport wagons and improve storage methods to facilitate the efficient movement of goods through your town and prevent spoilage.
Randomly Generated Maps - No game is ever quite the same with beautiful, completely randomized terrain generation and resource distribution. Unique biomes and map themes increase replayability, with extreme maps leading to unique challenges. Controls allow players to specify the amount of water or mountains they desire, even down to which resources can generate on the map.
Idyllic to Brutal - Customizable difficulty options allow players to turn off features like invaders and disease, for a more tranquil experience or max out difficulty to truly test their town-builder prowess. Enable custom game options to cater the experience to your desires.
Environmental Interaction - Develop your economy based on which resources are locally abundant and produce items for trade to acquire that which you lack. Erect fencing to keep deer away from crop fields and stop bears from raiding food storage. Manage tree cover to prevent underground water supplies from drying up. Balance the need to clear land for agriculture around vital natural resources like wild growing medicinal plants and forage items.
All Them Old-Timey Diseases! - Ensure your villagers have clean water to stop outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Collect berries and plant greens to avoid scurvy and ensure a healthy diet. Make sure villagers are properly shoed and clothed to reduce chances of contracting tetanus, rabies or frostbite. Build a healer’s house to quarantine the infected and provide herbs and medicine for treatment. Manage rodent populations by collecting waste, securely storing food and employing rat catchers to ward off the feared bubonic plague.
Fend Off Would-Be Invaders - Choose to play on pacifist and avoid combat altogether or engage with varying levels of raider difficulty to raise the stakes for your town’s survival. Progress from wood palisades to stone walls, build towers and barracks, recruit and equip soldiers in the defense of your town as rising prosperity attracts the attention of raiders and foreign armies seeking plunder.
Steam Workshop Integration - With full support for modding through the freely available Unity development tools and Steam Workshop, players have the power to take the game's strong foundation and build upon and reinvent it to their wildest desires.

Would give neutral rating if it was an option. It's a good game but it gets old pretty fast. The game itself is basically Banished or Kingdoms Reborn with less cartoony models/graphics and it looks really good. That said, it lacks a lot of features those and other games like these offer that make it fall short. The Good: It really is a solid civ builder. There's tons of various buildings and resources each playing their own role in building your village. You have to be VERY careful in what you build when. I would say this game is very unforgiving on F-ups. Probably one of the most difficult games to balance needs early on. It gets WAY easier as you progress, it's just the early stages that are brutal. This makes it pretty fun and seem challenging, to start. NPC AI seems pretty good, villagers do what they're supposed to do with little jerking around or confusion. It offers some quality of life improvements that I've wanted in games like these and I love it. For example, being able to relocate your buildings. Love that I don't have to break down and rebuild it when I realize it would do better next to this building because reasons. Love the free placement of buildings and roads with the option to snap if I want to. Being able to change the work locations of certain buildings so I don't have to have 5 of one directly in the resource location. Usually don't see stuff like that and it's cool. The bad: The biggest issue is it's missing a goal or some form of completion. All you do is build and maintain a civilization. Banished for example is similar it that you never really "win" the game, but it keeps going for as long as you want and you just keep growing and expanding your colony. BUT with this game, you're capped at 500 citizens, yes you CAN increase that but as the game warns you, it can be very taxing on your PC and a lot won't be able to handle it. Past 500, my PC's heat jumped and slowly increased as I got more, making it sound like a jet engine. Not top of the line PC but can handle modern games max setting. I did turn off shadows and foliage to reduce how taxing it is but very minimal help. Also a negative that ties in with that, your setting DON'T save. Every time I load in I have to re-adjust graphic settings, once I got bigger, this would make loading the game a B and a half. So really the only goal in the game is to get to 500 villagers, upgrade your buildings and that's it. Overall it's okay, but there's really only about 15hrs of content and then you can do that 15hrs of content over again on a different seed. The game is only difficult to start for resources. The only consistent challenge after that is the raiders. Raiders are more annoying that anything. Their raids are WAY to frequent right out of the gate. Before it's even reasonable to build and army, you're getting raided and have to use your villagers. They do fine in combat if you use all of them, but several do die. This sets you WAY back in resource gathering and production making it even longer to build an army for real protection. Walls are absolutely useless as are guard towers unless you place them along the entire length of your wall covering one another which is not reasonable. They don't come to your gate to attack they just pick the closest bit of wall and break through it making towers useless and walls just a measure to get troops in place I guess but you know where the raiders are coming from/going within a couple seconds of them being on the map so there's plenty of time to get soldiers in place. Towers also miss about 80-90% of their shots against a moving target making them useless for getting some early dmg/kills in before they're on you. Storage is also kinda garbo. There's 4 different types of storage, 3 allowing unique things and 1 allowing everything. 5 I guess if you count the Vault just for storing gold. That's to many storage buildings man. I get a special food one that makes food last longer before spoil, okay sure, then 1 more that does everything else. 3 absolute max if you really want a vault for gold. Then you need at least 3-4 of EACH type of these early on, then even once you can upgrade them and increase capacity you could probably delete 1 of each storage but still need a bunch. Unbalanced and overly complicated. Last complaint on the top of my head is the dead time. Meaning time I can walk away from the game and let it run on it's own. A lot of things take years to accomplish or build up. There's way to much "hurry up and wait" in the game for various things. Also annoying there's no way to see all of your villages inventory. You can see what was produced in the last year, but there's no way to see everything you own unless you go into your trading hub and just scroll through that. Finding buildings is also a B. Both when placed and figuring out where in build menu and then what you need where to unlock them. All gets confusing, needs some simplification. Wrap it up with it's a fun game, I enjoy it, would NOT have paid full price for it. Just seems like what's in it is complete, but the game itself isn't complete. Like the other games I mentioned before, it plays the same but feels like you're completing a full game. This just feels like when you get to the "end" you should just be starting but that's all folks.
The lack of story makes me wonder what is the point of this game. I'm basically just grinding up the tech tree and building more buildings. This is the only game in which I had to turn off the music completely because it is so short loop. Turning off the music didn't help much, as it now emphasizes the sound effects, which I also feel annoying.
Gutes spiel, aber es fehlt an Kampagne und glaube ich Endgame Möglichkeiten.
很好的游戏,很上头,根本停不下来
好玩,但游戏后期略无聊重复。
ist okay
