Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Environmental Interaction - Develop your economy based on which resources are locally abundant and produce items for trade to acquire that which you lack. Erect fencing to keep deer away from crop fields and stop bears from raiding food storage. Manage tree cover to prevent underground water supplies from drying up. Balance the need to clear land for agriculture around vital natural resources like wild growing medicinal plants and forage items.
All Them Old-Timey Diseases! - Ensure your villagers have clean water to stop outbreaks of dysentery and cholera. Collect berries and plant greens to avoid scurvy and ensure a healthy diet. Make sure villagers are properly shoed and clothed to reduce chances of contracting tetanus, rabies or frostbite. Build a healer’s house to quarantine the infected and provide herbs and medicine for treatment. Manage rodent populations by collecting waste, securely storing food and employing rat catchers to ward off the feared bubonic plague.
Fend Off Would-Be Invaders - Choose to play on pacifist and avoid combat altogether or engage with varying levels of raider difficulty to raise the stakes for your town’s survival. Progress from wood palisades to stone walls, build towers and barracks, recruit and equip soldiers in the defense of your town as rising prosperity attracts the attention of raiders and foreign armies seeking plunder.
Steam Workshop Integration - With full support for modding through the freely available Unity development tools and Steam Workshop, players have the power to take the game's strong foundation and build upon and reinvent it to their wildest desires.

This is the best city builder I've ever played, I'm fairly new to the genre, but this game has everything I've been wanting from it. It's very open and unrestrictive compared to something like Anno or Skylines, structures aren't bound to roads, but can be placed freely anywhere you want. The villagers can be independently controlled which makes it funny when a bear attacks your mining camp and you send six villagers to hack it down. The whole game feels really intuitive and satisfying, I can't stop playing!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Like Banished, with more complexity and change. I'm enjoying it. It does tax my computer a bit more than I expected it might, but that's okay for me.
This might be my new favorite game. I tried it out as soon as I installed it, and then proceeded to play for the next six hours straight! It's been a long time that a game has kept me that enthralled. There is a lot of detail, and some details are not up to the player, otherwise, it could possibly be overwhelming. It begins as a broad overview of beginning a settlement, city planning, and it's lovely. There's not a lot of time to plan the first time you try, you being playing and learning right away. Complete with farming, mining, fishing, hunting, gathering, and deciding how you want your town to grow, where to place the focus first. Upgrading the homes and town center, roads as you progress, it has a tower defense aspect to it. Military or not, one can play without fighting should they choose to do that. II can't say enough good things about it. The music and sound effects are great right out of the box, I only once thought about them in the six hours, an my single thought was, the music is fitting and pleasant! It has seasons and weather, but no nights which allowed for continual progress. It was challenging, even though I set it to fairly easy game play. I lost a few townsfolk to over-crowding, dysentery and food poisoning. Buildings catch on fire. There's lightning. Geese that fly overhead in formation when fall comes. Great graphics, I just want to high five all the creators and developers, anyone who made this game what it is-- a delightful experience that I look forward to continuing and trying new scenarios, topography, sizes, and measures of difficulty.
This is my spiritual successor to Banished. Just wish I could bring the banished music with me...
overall it could be an excellent game. I like it that you get straight to the point. no nonsense claggy story videos. the world and design look beautiful. but it falls short with the details and as usual, the devil is in the details... this game is all about designing an efficient production chain but it provides fairly poor statistical overview features essential for making your workflow efficient. I need the UI to show me things! 1. draw me the path of every factory to the nearest storage space when selected and let me visually draw a new one if I want it to go to another storage. 2. show me a live graph of how long the production cycle of each good and its dependencies takes, in every production chain. 3. a clear storage management UI, what is stored where exactly, and a granular ability to transfer items between storage facilities. the game also lacks trivial visual queues, like a simple sand clock running out while a topic is being studied in the knowledge interface... right now there's absolutely no visual indication what topic I even picked while it's running, unless I go to the university building which is a different UI. what this game has in its rich beautiful environment, it lacks in management tools. the road tool is a nightmare to use, you can only delete (or upgrade) roads by the section you initially created them, which mostly means deleting more of the road than you need just to recreate a smaller part later... bulk upgrades of things like city walls is messy and frustrating at times. there's no way to search items in the Building menu! generally the info interfaces in this game are dotted with mere icons with no descriptions and the player should squint and take guesses what is what. you always see people searching for items one by one in gameplay videos... the user experience is too clunky generally, which is a shame. look to Anno for good solutions for all these problems. this is a much better game to play than Anno. more accurate and realistic and relatable and it also looks better... it's more relaxing and with a more intuitive learning curve. but it fails to create the smooth playing experience a video game should offer... it does run flawlessly on Linux right out the box.

Better than Banished
Wish there was more to do.
This game is pretty cool, it reminds me of a medieval sim city or the age of empires economy part that was never touchable. It does take patience to understand how it all works. the only thing it could improve on is military but don't let that scare you away from the game.
