horrible. boring. looks visually appealing, but balance is weird like most passives are like 1% chance and thats all youre stacking until you finish a season (boss) and a few minor stats... some monsters you actually have to get them cause they're not coming at you, very annoying, like the flies. i dunno it feels very underwhelming, also doesnt feel very challenging and engaging, should've more monsters coming at you, and less projectiles flying at you.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

an oddly fun and satisfying rougelike cant wait to see the devs next work
I was underwhelmed. If I was a 5 year old it would be great. As soon as I turned 6 it would be passe.
This rogue-like game offers a small yet enjoyable experience. However, it feels lacking in content, though there may be potential for more in the future. Despite this, it was still a fun experience!
Farmer Survivors is a compact, arcade-inspired survival title that takes the familiar wave-based formula and places it in an unusually rustic setting. Developed by Afil Games and published by Gamersky Games alongside Afil Games themselves, the game focuses on accessibility and quick-session fun, offering a lighthearted but increasingly frantic experience where players fend off endless swarms of farm pests determined to overrun the fields. Rather than aiming for deep simulation or narrative complexity, it embraces immediacy, repetition, and escalation as the core of its appeal. The premise is simple and clearly communicated: you are a lone farmer standing between your land and an ever-growing infestation of hostile insects. Gameplay unfolds in a top-down arena where movement and positioning are your primary responsibilities, while attacks are handled automatically. This design removes the need for precise aiming and allows players to focus on spatial awareness, dodging, and route planning as enemy numbers swell. The simplicity of the controls makes the game approachable almost instantly, allowing even genre newcomers to understand its rhythm within minutes. As waves progress, the game introduces its main layer of strategy through upgrades and item choices. At regular intervals, players select from a small pool of weapons, passive bonuses, or utility effects that directly shape the flow of each run. These choices are where the game finds most of its replay value, as early decisions can dramatically influence survivability later on. Whether you prioritize raw damage, crowd control, or survivability, the accumulation of upgrades gradually transforms the initially fragile farmer into a capable force—at least until the enemy scaling catches up. Enemy design revolves around exaggerated farm pests, each contributing differently to the pressure on the player. Some enemies rush relentlessly, others attack from a distance, and later waves combine multiple behaviors to overwhelm careless movement. While the variety is not extensive, the way enemies stack and surround the player creates genuine moments of tension, especially when the screen fills with projectiles and bodies. Difficulty increases steadily, relying more on density and speed than on complex mechanics, which reinforces the arcade-like nature of the experience. Visually, Farmer Survivors adopts a clean pixel-art style that prioritizes clarity over detail. Characters, enemies, and projectiles are easy to read even during chaotic moments, which is crucial for a game that often floods the screen with threats. Seasonal changes add subtle visual variation to the farm environment, preventing the setting from feeling entirely static across longer runs. Sound design remains understated, providing functional feedback without drawing attention away from the action. One of the game’s strengths is how well it fits into short play sessions. A single run can be enjoyed in brief bursts, making it ideal for players looking for something quick and satisfying rather than a long-term commitment. Steam achievements and unlocks provide light external goals, but progression remains largely self-contained within individual runs. This structure keeps frustration low, as failure feels like a natural endpoint rather than a setback that undoes hours of progress. That same simplicity, however, can limit long-term appeal. Players familiar with more complex survivors-style games may find that the lack of deeper meta-progression, character variety, or evolving mechanics leads to repetition over time. Once the upgrade pool and enemy behaviors are fully understood, runs can start to feel similar, with fewer surprises to sustain extended engagement. The game is clearly designed with approachability in mind, sometimes at the expense of depth. Overall, Farmer Survivors succeeds as a cheerful, easy-to-learn survival game that delivers quick bursts of escalating chaos in an unconventional rural setting. It does not attempt to redefine the genre, but instead offers a streamlined and friendly entry point that emphasizes movement, upgrade choices, and moment-to-moment survival. For players seeking a lightweight roguelike experience that can be enjoyed casually and without heavy investment, it provides a pleasant and energetic defense of the farm—simple, frantic, and unapologetically focused on fun.
