About
On Halloween night, three teenagers head out to enjoy the early hours in costume, unaware that they've chosen the worst possible place to go. While crossing an old, abandoned square during a strange storm, an occult ritual awakens a portal between dimensions—dragging the three into a dark world dominated by the chaos of Halloween.
Trapped in a dimension where monstrous creatures constantly emerge, they discover that their costumes have come to life, transforming into real powers. The witch controls destructive magic, the hunter wields cursed weapons, and the shadowy creature unleashes supernatural abilities capable of facing entire hordes of monsters.
But escape won't be easy.

To find the portal back home, they must survive increasingly dangerous waves of enemies, explore cursed regions, and defeat entities that control that macabre world. The further they advance, the stronger they become—and the more terrifying the dimension that tries to imprison them forever becomes.
During each match, new skills, weapons, and magical powers can be unlocked, allowing for devastating combinations and unique playstyles. Every choice completely alters the run, encouraging different strategies and builds.

Sure, it's cheap but It's just too basic & amateur to be much fun. My 14 year old step-son has made a game in this genre for school and apart from the visuals, this is only a small step up from that.
Esse jogo me surpreendeu.
Arcane Waves is a fast-paced roguelike action game developed and published by WAOSON, built around the idea of surviving relentless enemy assaults while gradually crafting powerful character builds. Set within a strange Halloween-inspired dimension, the game follows three teenagers who become trapped in a cursed world filled with monsters and supernatural dangers. Their goal is simple but compelling: fight through increasingly difficult waves of enemies, unlock stronger abilities, and ultimately discover a portal that can return them home. While the story serves mainly as a backdrop for the gameplay, it establishes a fun and fitting atmosphere that supports the game's arcade-driven design. The core gameplay revolves around surviving enemy hordes while collecting upgrades that dramatically alter each run. Arcane Waves embraces the roguelike formula by encouraging experimentation, rewarding players who learn how different powers interact with one another. Every attempt presents opportunities to create unique builds, and much of the enjoyment comes from discovering combinations that transform a struggling character into a devastating force capable of clearing entire groups of enemies. This progression system keeps the action engaging and gives players a reason to return for multiple runs. One of the game's most distinctive features is its costume-based ability system. The three playable teenagers gain powers tied to the costumes they wear, allowing each character to feel different in combat. This mechanic adds an extra layer of variety to the experience, as players can explore different strategies depending on which character they select and how they develop their abilities throughout a run. The system helps prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive and contributes significantly to the game's replay value. The Halloween-themed presentation gives Arcane Waves a unique personality. Rather than relying on dark horror elements, the game leans toward a colorful supernatural aesthetic filled with monsters, eerie environments, and imaginative character designs. The visual style complements the frantic action well, creating an atmosphere that feels adventurous and entertaining rather than overly serious. Enemy designs and environmental themes help reinforce the sense of being trapped in a bizarre alternate world where anything can happen. Combat is clearly the heart of the experience. Success depends on movement, timing, and smart upgrade choices as enemy numbers steadily increase. The game emphasizes constant action, with little downtime between encounters. Players who enjoy wave-survival games and roguelikes that focus on moment-to-moment gameplay rather than lengthy storytelling will likely appreciate how Arcane Waves maintains its momentum. The satisfaction of overcoming overwhelming odds through careful build creation is one of its strongest qualities. Although the game offers an entertaining gameplay loop, players looking for a deep narrative may find the story relatively light. The premise provides enough motivation to push forward, but the emphasis remains firmly on combat, progression, and replayability. Fortunately, the roguelike structure and variety of upgrade combinations help compensate for the limited narrative depth, ensuring that repeated playthroughs remain rewarding. Overall, Arcane Waves delivers an enjoyable blend of arcade action, roguelike progression, and Halloween-inspired charm. Its combination of customizable builds, costume-based abilities, and escalating enemy encounters creates a gameplay loop that is easy to understand yet difficult to master. While it does not attempt to reinvent the roguelike genre, it succeeds in offering a focused and entertaining experience that rewards experimentation and persistence. Fans of action-heavy survival roguelikes should find plenty to enjoy in its monster-filled world and constantly evolving combat possibilities. Rating: 6/10
jogo muito divertido, muito bom. recomendo
jogo bem interessante, me diverti muito :)
jogo bem dificil ,gostei do estilo dos personagens, o grafico e bem legal !
Great for the price, and I really liked the graphic style, I recommend it.
Just more trash, fix your system Steam !!!!
