Summary of story mode:
Something goes wrong in creation and a cosmic battle ensues between spiritual beings.
They fought for a sphere called "Exfera Celestes", which would give unimaginable power to those who possessed it.
The struggle was so intense that the veil between the spiritual and material world was torn apart and the sphere entered the material world.
For some unknown reason the sphere broke into several upon falling into this material world.
That's when a part fell near where the hero was, and with his curiosity he ended up possessing it and receiving some power.
Now a spiritual Elder appears to him in visions and dreams and tells him the importance of preventing other beings from getting hold of the spheres.
Each sphere that the hero gets throughout the story gives him capabilities such as: floating, breathing underwater, seeing spirits and so on.

The AI-written intro song about joining your discord and ripping off other games is annoying. The game let me create a username of "null" - which I find absolutely hilarious. There is no local save, and requires a login on some third party system (but that also doesn't tie to Steam, so you can make as many accounts as you want). A lot of text is unreadable and overlays itself. The reason there are people with hundreds of hours in the game is because idling gives you "diamonds" which is a premium purchase. These are quite predatory - even for a mobile game. The developer is using "playtime" to show how good their game is in Facebook groups - while hilariously some of that playtime is 22-24 hours/day for weeks. There's a "cheat destroyer" NPC that does nothing but take you to your Discord, but tells you that botting isn't considered cheating because you've implemented "anti-bot" methods. (yeah, ok...) There are two language options, Brazilian Portuguese and English - and English is generated with ChatGPT. It's been out for a year and a half and hasn't broken a player count of 50, but averaging under 20.
-Spend 100+ USD on game..Disagree with Dev(which sounds more like a super ego kid) and have your account deleted :D

AI slop, gameplay is a drag and way too easy, steals logo design and UI from Final Fantasy and just feels uninspired. The story seemed to be somewhat interesting but I'm not dragging myself through this game to find out how it continues. It's interesting to see an MMO in RPG Maker but thats about it, also some of the "players" feel like bots especially since theyre all max level and walking back and forth. EDIT: Developer lies about the game not having AI art despite clear evidence of such, if they lie about something like this how can they honestly turn around to their customers and say this game is worth investing into? Edit Edit: I guess I have the last laugh after being blocked by this guy on facebook for calling out his terrible practices since this game doesnt even hit 10 concurrent players
"Fantasy World Souls" is a garbage P2W mobile app tier pixelcrap game from a very scummy developer involved in review manipulation and some other shady business. Of course the developer also needs you to create a third party account for this mobile app... incredibly shady stuff, gamers should avoid this like the plague. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Friends and I tried it out for a little while, and it was okay. To be honest, I wish there were more games like it. However, upon joining the discord and looking at the recent updates I noticed something. The developer is EXTREMELY lazy, asks for hand outs for literally anything. 6 months between updates and he asks for donates for him to do ANYTHING at ALL to the game. I mean literally anything. Also if you look up "List of ALL RPG-Maker monsters", you'll recognize quite a few from the top images if you play this game. The dude is a lazy sleezebag and it kind of makes me sad because I wanted to like this game until realizing why exactly it is so dead.
I had this game since October 2023 but was locked out of my account until recently when my friend told me to contact you to access my account again this year 2024. Since I got into my account again my friend and I been playing together and having a good time. We help each other every event that needs 700 battles to finish the event. I think that should be lowered two at least 500 battles. Also I think linking up with friends needs some work sometimes we meet up as a team for battles and it doesn’t connect. We have to mess with it a few times to get it to work. I would like to see some decorating options for our house and some more female colors and would like some poc souls or be able to change skin tones. Other than that I love the game.
