Such a toxic relationship I have with this one. (Love) The game is actually really well done and really fun to play. The quests are fun and I enjoy helping newer players get their skills from them. Progression in the game is extensive once you get magic- You gain knowledge that is permanent progress/value to your character (Knowledge doesn't diminish!). To master a school it legit takes years- I actually really like that kind of progression. I also enjoy the bosses and all of the PVE aspects of the game. Plus the ally system is really nice and coop can be very fun. (Hate) I never really made it to high level. I am a mid level player. The player base consists of few players with a ton of alts that keep watch. Once I was able to start affording some good gear like Horned Helm and Boots of Agility, I became a target like instantly and ended up being farmed for my stuff. The reality of it is my stuff either went into their vault and stockpiled with all the other Horned Helms and Boots of Agility or traded to other players for the gold value/IRL money. Essentially new players/mid players are a payday for the higher end players once they start getting gear. They ARE the farm. It goes even deeper. Go to any of their discords where the community congregates and you will find high level accounts being sold for IRL money and high level items (like what was farmed from me) being sold for IRL money. Do I dare begin to describe the behavior of the player base? All I will say is there is a lot of toxic behavior and racism. As for realm functionality some realms have some order, while others just don't. But overall what I noticed is that all the realms function a lot like prison with no security so to speak. Higher level says this, you don't listen, you die (You might die anyway regardless if you listen). Honestly I don't really care that PVP is in the game, that's completely fine. I would just like to get back to the things I love about the game, but as you can see we are hella too deep in the hate section RN. Simple was right when he said there is a lot of freedom. As a matter of fact there is so much freedom in the players hands that they can dictate if you can even experience or enjoy the game that he designed at all. I just want to get back to that top section that I was initially writing about bro- -Trashfire

Скучная и устаревшая игра с примитивной графикой, неудобным управлением и гриндильным геймплеем. Баланс отсутствует: новичков постоянно убивают более сильные игроки, а прокачка занимает кучу времени.
Garbage. Players kill on sight and the gameplay is unfun.
Fun until some random high-levelled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kills you in the hub area for no reason and you lose hours of grinded loot.
Ah, yes. Aberoth. Used to play this game religiously before it died off a few years ago now, and boy-oh-boy, the memories. Many friends were made, hardships survived, bosses killed, gold stolen and soo much running away from minotaurs. The main problem of the game was that the progression... well.. it kind of halts after a while; And the OG players constantly bullied everyone on certain worlds (orbs). If you ever decide to start up this game, get ready for: -Hardcore PVP ( you lose most of your stuff and never see it again) -Not-quite-easy progression -Classic and minimal graphics -Awesome, but very exploitable text based activity system -Many good, but also many bad people to meet -No more content updates (sadly) -Monotone mid- to high level grinds. -Chasing blue bees. :) I miss this game. Jarbit, make a damn sequel!
Don't play this bastard of an MMORPG game. The world design and quests are boring. You need constant grinding just to get past the first location. and don’t forget that you can easily get killed by some random dude who will steal all of your loot if it’s not personalized IN THE HUB AREA. Had the worst and most boring experience with this game.
If you though runescape is stage 4 cancer simulator, you haven't seen Aberoth. Game made for literal rapists and people who enjoy harassers others with zero chance of fighting back.
There's no direction. There is little explanation on what to do, what you can do, and how to do it. You lose everything on death and so far there isn't a way to recover items, once my club was gone I couldn't get it back even by going back to where I died to recollect. There is an engraving system so you don't lose everything but there's no in game explanation on how to do it. You need to drop an Item and it won't tell you how. There's no story to work with here either. The controls are weird and largely unexplained. "F" attacks while "Q,W,E,A,S,D,Z,X,C" all move you. "Q" also sometimes quits the game. There's two methods of quitting the game and one of them will let enemies and other players kill you. In order to safely quit you have to type "CAMP" in chat. In order to interact with an NPC you have to type a word they will recognise as an input. Picking up things needs you to click on the specific pixel of the thing in question while being close enough. Coins are only one pixel big and can fall behind a cave wall making this an annoying and nearly impossible task. This game could do with some standard menus. There's no setting menu in game so in order to change anything you have to exit out the game entirely. Places like the bank and the shop have no labelling anywhere outside of them. All of their stuff is just on the floor and there is no confirmation before it takes action, so I bought a knife without knowing it. If there is a map, I don't know where to get it. The actual game-play isn't very good. Fighting is more of a slapping contest than anything, just spam basic attack until someone dies. Quests are go find the hut south to gain the levelling system, followed by infinite go kill X amount of Y enemy. PVP exists, as when I entered a room someone immediately came in and instantly killed me. This game is just bad.
