Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 362.2/day in the week to Jul 16 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Level5 Inc has been embracing Generative AI very hard for a while now, do NOT buy this game, do not support this disgusting practise, and do not let Level5 Inc think for even a second that we support Generative AI. Everyone at the company that uses GenAI even slightly deserve to be run out of business, now and forever. Blacklist them.
With the direction Level 5 is going, I strongly recommend just playing the first game instead.

So much to do in this game, it's crazy! If you want to kill some time and slowly build your character, you'll enjoy this. Constantly saying "one more thing" then bam, it's 2am. Reminds me of Darkcloud from the playstation days.
Guys save your Money, Since they only come up with absolutly AI Garbage you cant take it serious anymore ... sorry but this Game really aged like milk.
I can't in good conscience support a company who's this adamant about the usage of Generative AI.
Heartbroken to see Level 5 embrace ai. This disingenuous road is not one I’m willing to go down with you. Lost me as a customer for any future projects.
the studio uses undisclosed AI on their games, this game is within the timespan of their admitted usage. avoid https://automaton-media.com/en/news/20231213-24326/ https://automaton-media.com/en/news/level-5-ceo-says-games-are-now-being-made-80-90-by-ai-making-aesthetic-sense-a-must-for-developers/
I've played this game for over 100 hours so I feel confident in saying, despite that, it is bad. This game could be a fun game, but it is too rife with the sort of horrible game design decisions that show that this developer is the type of developer that barely playtests and doesn't listen to their community. This game features an Animal Crossing-esque settlement where you design a town, houses, build roads, alter the landscape, etc. Roads are placed 1x1 grid squares at a time, You can't just pave over an old road to install a new road if you decide you'd like to change your roads to the new style you just unlocked, you have to delete each individual road one grid square at a time before you can put down a new road. Want to move that house over a few cells? Too bad, you'll need to move it entirely away from the area it's currently at (loading scene) and then move it back (loading scene) because you can't just move it slightly to the left because the game treats it as blocking that area of land, even though it is the thing you are moving. Want to move, change, or demolish a bridge or stairs? Get ready to sit through an annoying loading scene for each and every bridge and each set of stairs. Want to farm vegetables? (you kind of HAVE to farm vegetables at some point). More annoying loading scenes, because you have to sit through a cutscene for every 9x9 plot of land to farm in. Oh, you wanted to plant something else other than carrots? Guess you'll have to delete that plot of land (loading scene) and put down a new plot of land (another loading scene). You're also going to be forced to sit through all of this if you want to truly design your town because to unlock all of the town options you have to be building along the way, so you will HAVE to demolish everything so that you have a clean slate once you've unlocked all of the building features. The game is just rife with poor design choices like this, so so many that every time I play I just end up ranting to myself about why in god's name a developer in this day and age would not have solved XYZ antiquated gaming issue that every other developer has managed to overcome. For 60 bucks? Do better. It makes sense that this is a port from Switch though, considering that Nintendo platformed developers have a history of just not giving a crap about the opinions of their players.
As a fan of Fantasy Life on 3ds, this game is worse in almost every aspect when it comes to difficulty and variety. Bosses tend to be reskins with the same 3 abilities. I should not be able to defeat a level 50 boss at level 15. I remember getting my ass kicked on 3ds for not being geared up enough or being roughly the same level as a boss. Monsters to kill for each combat Life are also about 80% the same. What happened to variety? After ~38 hours (and grinding every job to Expert, mind you, I'm probably halfway through), story is still bland and rather boring. And I love dragons, I'm all here for dragons. The dragon is the most interesting part of the game.
