Excellent search and find game! The quality and love put into this Christmas journey is apparent in every level. My daughter and I are addicted to this fantastic game!
Frohe Weihnachten!
Love the vibe, but it's frustratingly hard to find ALL items, took me quite a while for just the first level, but that's the beauty of it! Well made, easy to play and runs smooth, no hiccups whatsoever so far.
If you've got a thing for the holiday season and also for scouring through a level and finding every last little detail you can, this is glorious. There's something to be said for storytelling through just set dressing. The characters are adorable and the art style perfectly fits the season. This would also make a great holiday season gift for anyone who might like something cozy and holiday themed to celebrate draping a blanket over themselves and finding every last gingerbread cookie.
I honestly feel a bit bad leaving a negative review for such a CUTE game. If Steam had a “Mixed” option, that’s probably what I’d pick. The Sims-like art style is charming, and the cozy Christmas-themed buildings and interiors are beautifully designed. At first, exploring this magical, storybook-style winter world felt immersive and relaxing. Visually, the game does a great job setting the mood. Unfortunately, the gameplay itself becomes repetitive fairly quickly. While this isn’t a game that needs a strong story, the core loop of clicking around to find objects loses its appeal over time. What starts off fun and relaxing slowly turns into something tedious. Some of the optional hidden objects are way too specific, making them more frustrating than satisfying to find. The controls and camera are another weak point. Both mouse and keyboard controls feel clunky, and managing the camera can be awkward. Better camera options would go a long way—being able to switch between a first-person view and a more free, overview-style camera would make exploration much smoother. I also encountered a bug where a few achievements wouldn’t unlock properly. Overall: 5/10. The idea of a 3D hidden object game is creative, and the Christmas-themed, Sims-style world looks great. Sadly, the gameplay gets boring too fast, object hunting can feel overly picky, and the clunky controls and camera hold the experience back.
Fantastic Findings: Hidden Seasons is overall a really enjoyable hidden object game. The graphics are lovely and detailed, making each scene fun to explore and easy on the eyes. The camera controls can feel a little clunky at first, especially when moving around the scenes. However, the game is definitely still very playable. I personally found it became much easier once I started using a combination of the mouse and keyboard controls together. I did run into a couple of bugs while playing, but what stood out was how quickly the developer responded. The issues I reported were fixed swiftly, which really shows that the developer cares about the game and its players. Even though the game has a Christmas theme, it's definitely still enjoyable outside the holiday season as well 😉 If you like hidden object games with charming visuals and an attentive developer behind them, this is well worth checking out.
Cozy, holiday vibe. Would recommend to anyone who has small kids and is looking for a game they can play together.
Cute 3D hidden object game. I had fun with it over the winter & holidays.
What a cozy game. Definitely got me in the mood for Christmas! And the characters are very cute! What's not to love about animals in Christmas outfits? :D
I am probably the closest to the grinch and I don't typically like hidden object games, but I really enjoy playing this cozy Christmas game.
