Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

*False Front*, developed and published by Svantech Studios, is an indie multiplayer shooter that deliberately steps away from realism and instead embraces speed, chaos, and accessibility. It positions itself as an arcade-style experience where movement and momentum are just as important as aiming, creating a style of play that feels closer to a fast-paced arena sport than a traditional battlefield simulation. The result is a game that can be immediately fun and energetic, though not always built for long-term depth. From the moment a match begins, the emphasis on mobility is impossible to miss. Maps are designed with verticality and flow in mind, filled with trampolines, zip lines, and launch mechanics that allow players to move rapidly across the environment. This constant motion defines the gameplay, turning even simple encounters into dynamic, unpredictable skirmishes. Instead of carefully holding positions or advancing methodically, players are encouraged to keep moving, using the environment to gain speed and surprise their opponents. When everything comes together, the game creates moments that feel chaotic but exciting, where quick reactions and clever movement make the difference between success and failure. The core modes are familiar—free-for-all and team-based matches—but the way they play out is shaped by the game’s fast, arcade-oriented design. Combat is easy to understand, with straightforward weapons and mechanics that allow new players to jump in without much difficulty. At the same time, there is a layer of skill tied to mastering movement and timing, which gives experienced players an edge. Power-ups and streak-based rewards add an extra layer of unpredictability, occasionally shifting the balance of a match and keeping things from feeling too controlled or repetitive. This design favors fun over strict competitive balance, which works well for casual sessions but may feel lacking for those seeking a more competitive experience. One of the more appealing aspects of *False Front* is its social focus. The inclusion of local split-screen alongside online multiplayer gives it a throwback quality, reminiscent of older games designed for shared, in-person play. This makes it particularly enjoyable in group settings, where the fast pace and chaotic nature of matches lend themselves well to short, energetic sessions with friends. It’s a game that doesn’t demand long-term commitment, instead thriving in moments where players can jump in, play a few rounds, and enjoy the unpredictability together. The game also introduces alternative modes that slightly shift the tone, such as darker, survival-oriented variations where visibility is limited and tension is increased. These modes provide a change of pace from the standard matches, showing some willingness to experiment within the framework. However, they don’t fundamentally transform the experience, serving more as variations than as fully developed alternatives. They add variety, but not enough to significantly extend the game’s longevity. Visually, *False Front* adopts a bright, stylized look that complements its arcade design. The environments are clean and easy to read, which is essential given the speed at which gameplay unfolds. While the aesthetic is cohesive, it remains relatively simple, lacking the detail or polish that might make it stand out visually. It does its job well in supporting gameplay, but it rarely leaves a lasting impression beyond its functional clarity. Where the game begins to show its limitations is in its long-term appeal. As a multiplayer-focused title, it depends heavily on having an active player base. Without enough players, matches can feel less engaging, and the experience shifts toward AI opponents, which lack the unpredictability and energy of real competition. Additionally, the overall depth of the game is fairly limited. While the movement system provides a strong foundation, the lack of extensive progression, customization, or strategic variety means that the experience can start to feel repetitive after extended play. Despite these shortcomings, *False Front* succeeds in delivering a specific kind of fun. It is a game built for immediacy—easy to pick up, quick to understand, and capable of producing moments of excitement without requiring significant investment. Its strength lies in its ability to create fast, chaotic matches that are enjoyable in short bursts, especially when played with others. In the end, *False Front* is best viewed as a casual, arcade-style shooter that prioritizes energy and accessibility over depth and longevity. It offers a refreshing change of pace from more serious titles, but its reliance on player population and its relatively shallow systems limit its staying power. For those looking for a light, movement-focused multiplayer experience, it can be a fun diversion. For players seeking a deeper or more competitive shooter, it may not hold attention for long. Rating: 7/10
