Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Shout-out to this masterpiece being my go to grind on my school laptop years ago
foda pra um caralho essa historia!!
I'm a big fan of 90s isometric rpg's. I missed Fallout the first time round as Fo3 was my introduction to the series. I went back to where it all began and played using Fixt. It's rough around the edges and a chore at times but is ultimately a worth while experience.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Hard game, but if you learn how to actually play it it's fun.
Overall its like Fallout 2 but myself have not played much of it the gameplay is like Fallout 2 and it actually works on my pc but the Master is not nearly as cool as Frank Horrigan and the Unity is not as cool as the Enclave. 6.5/10
It's really old and I'd imagine you might think the graphics seem archaic and extremely outdated. They are, but the game can somehow still immerse you into the world and the world building seems to be better than any new Fallout release. It's grungy, it's bitter, dystopian and basically screams at you that what has occurred was a deeply insidious nuclear holocaust in which governments and corporations alike engaged in a ruthless race to the bottom. It's my favourite Fallout title for those reasons, and I've played most of the games including all of the 3D releases. The story is pretty good. It isn't a long or hard-ish game if you pick the right stats and rush to the right destinations. Some stats are basically essential. There aren't too many locations either (it is an old game) but somehow it's all just right. You'll have to save often since there isn't an autosave. Also, You'll need a guide. With old games like this, if you don't know what you are doing, you'll for sure miss out on a lot of stuff like important side-quests that'll give you more XP so you can handle bigger, harder fights. If you are a big Fallout fan, buy it.
9/10 This is the first Isometric RPG I've played, and it's a masterpiece. Don't listen to what the casuals have to say about the game. I had low expectations because most "Fallout" fans aren't pleased with it, but it has a one of a kind story, and the gameplay holds up surprisingly well for a 29 year old game. Even though it was my first Isometric RPG, it probably took me less than a few hours to get used to the gameplay and controls. The gameplay is not as brutal as some may describe it, but I did not play on the highest difficulty. My only complaint is that I have to get close to my screen because everything is so small because of my resolution. The story blew me away, and I took every dialogue chance I could get. I recall times where I would reload saves if I thought I missed dialogue opportunities. I finished this game over a little less than 3 days, and the story was probably the main driver that kept me engaged throughout it. This game was a fun ride, I'm regretting playing this as my first Isometric RPG, because I had mediocre expectations for it; that being said I don't know how I'll enjoy actual mediocre Isometric RPG's. I think if you're really interested in what started fallout, and what the story has to offer, than this game is for you.
Fallout is a game with an unforgettable journey, despite aggressively showing its age and testing your patience for technical reasons. Fallout (1) has my personal favorite setting and world of any game, everything from its characters, art style, and music on top of a great story from beginning to end. The clever trick of Fallout's setting is in how its a combination of all types of Pulp media, from books, comics, games, films, whether that's fantasy, science fiction, post-apocalypse, horror, super-natural, mythology, and westerns, and it's within that combination that makes for something that feels new, expansive, and exciting. An interesting setting and theme is great to have, but when its matched with great writing, dialogue, scenario design, and opportunity for choice in an RPG, the combination makes the whole game excellent as an art piece. Gameplay-wise, it is dated in its combat, skewing more towards difficulty, however, there is something to be said that Fallout has a difficulty curve that's really interesting. Because of the difficulty due to combat in the early to mid-game, the player is encouraged to restart when the character they've built hits a difficulty wall, which encourages optimization of building specialized characters who can excel in specific ways as opposed to generalists. Likewise, the difficulty due to a limitation of resources available to the player consequently encourages more diligence to scrounge every scrap of equipment, bullets, money, and EXP in order to be more prepared for the next encounter, culminating in a character who is well armed, equipped, and loaded. The difficulty curve of Fallout culminates in a great sense of progression, where the player starts with pretty much nothing to becoming a walking tank, and yet faces increasingly powerful challenges to the end; this is not how most modern games are made today, not without reason, but it makes for a distinguished type of design that should be experienced. As of this moment, Fallout 1's greatest flaw is in its technological issues and how it is not optimized for modern machines. Personally, I've had problems with corrupted save files and crashes, but I am also certain there are also just bugs that might require a reload of a save. Fallout 1, for this reason, has a bad reputation for needing to save often, but overall I think it's a game worthy of a chance.
