DO NOT BUY, THE GAME DOES NOT LAUNCH
Apparently Bethesda made FO3 dependent on an outdated Windows function that causes it not to track the hours played on steam on modern PC's. This is a well known issue, that they still have not addressed. They player should not be responsible for a multi-million dollar company for basic functions of their game. I recommend never supporting Bethesda in all their forms. Take what you can, leave them nothing in return.
Great as a sandbox (especially with mods), but vanilla is a hard sell; it's too bland, and there's too little to do.
Played at least a couple times. Maybe 3 times even. Is great game

If you have the annoying mouse acceleration, you need to manually add raw input settings to the game's configuration files. 1)Go to C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\My Games\Fallout3 2)Then open FALLOUT.INI 3)Press Ctrl+F to open the search bar and type [Controls], and hit Enter 4)Find the line that says bBackground Mouse = 0 and directly underneath that line, copy and paste the following commands: fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0 fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0 fForegroundMouseBase=0 fForegroundMouseMult=0 5)Save the file ( Ctrl + S) and close the file. Now it should be fixed :) Hope this helps
its fallout 2, but better! amazing charm, amazing characters, great way of adapting 90s rpg elements to an open world, the beginning sequence of the game is phenomenal, its ana amazing game and i cant wait to enjoy even more! HOWEVER- the fact that you need to modify the files of the game to even get it to run properly in the first place is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. ♥♥♥♥ you for that bethesda. the content of the game itself is great tho
