Game was ABSURDELY fun during the first 2 years after covid but after gorilla tag started changing the map, it got much less fun. What should we start with? K-ID? Cosmetic prices? The cash grabbing kiosk of shiny rocks? The fact it costs $20 to play on steam? Gorilla tag is slowly ruining itself. You can't even play infection like you used to be able to in previous years. I don't even think you can play it in the virtual stump, either. Gorilla tag has slowly started to pull the fun things the game used to be recognized for out of the game. The toxic player base is one thing to start with, people have constantly been super racial and toxic for no reason after the game started. Even though the report button exists, it BARELY works, as you have to be reported by almost the entire lobby to get banned. Now lets get to K-ID, Gorilla tag partnered with them a while ago and this is when gorilla tag had a BIG downfall. You had to put information into K-ID just to play. Even though people still play what if a hacker got into K-Id's servers and stole everyone's information? What after that? Now cosmetic prices, Where do I even begin??!? Cosmetic prices are also ABSURD as a golden helmet costs either over 20 real life dollars of 5000 shiny rocks. Now you would have to play for 50 days in a row to get that many shiny rocks. and most cosmetics cost thousands of shiny rocks, especially the limited ones. The kiosk, oh god what can I say? Just to buy a few cosmetics can costs tens of real life dollars just for a virtual monkey to wear, it is insane. 5000 shiny rocks would cost 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars just to purchase. Last time I played there was a 100 dollar option just so you could only buy a few cosmetics. ABSOLUTELY INSANE LEMMING. Now the price on steam. I get it, you want to prevent cheaters. But what if a little kid gets a steam vr for Christmas and their parents don't have 20 dollars, and he only wanted to play gorilla tag? There are definitely more fun games out there and I just want to point out almost this whole game is a cash grab.
This game is very very fun! If you do not have it you should get it on the side of connecting your headset is hard but the game stuff is SUPER easy.
Fun with (LEGAL) mod menus but really laggy on steamlink :( (cuz of my PC) but overall, its cool!
Its a REALLY fun VR game. Try it! It has diffirent gamemodes, cosmetics, and even maps! Its dying though, i think..but players still play it!

It is a really good game the graphics and setting make it better on steam and you don't have to worry about getting banned if u don't break the rules :)
THE BEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE
got walksim so i could play with vr! very fun indeed! worth the twenty bucks to see people going crazy over the fact i can play without vr.
