Ojciec wyszedł po mleko i nie wrócił. Miałem i ograłem na płytce, sentyment do tej gierki nieziemski mimo że gra przez społeczność jest uważana za dość gorszą od swojego następcy czyli new vegasa. Mimo to gra trzyma poziom, perki są bardziej useless niż w nv, ale da się za sprawą moda dosłownie połączyć obie gry i mieć perki z nv. I też dosłownie są połączone fabularnie. Klimat miasta, ameryki i w ogóle samych placówek jakoś bardziej pasują mi do fallouta niż pustkowia z nv. No cóż, jeśli szukacie dość niezłego rpga i usprawnicie sobie go żeby działał (paradoks gry bethesdy i to jeszcze z 2008r.), dodacie moda na perki z new vegasa (ale to nie tak, że będziecie się źle bawić bez nich, bo jest kilka niezłych), i ogarniecie spolszczenie z oficjalnym dubbingiem dystrybutorskim (a nie jest taki zły, uwierzcie mi!) to macie naprawde dobrą gre. 7,5/10. No i wiadomo gunplay jest do kitu ale chyba każdy kto widział chociaż troche gameplayu zdaje sobie z tego sprawe (jestem troche jak fan gothica, który broni systemu walki w remake'u).

Maybe playing New Vegas has instilled some bias in me, but the main questline feels like you've been dropped into the last chapter of a book as a side character and have to run around watching the real protagonists save the day. Weapon variety is worse than in NV, player choice is more restricted, gunplay feels worse, character builds are more restricted, the game is still unplayable for a lot of people, the writing feels flat... The difficulty also feels extremely badly tuned. On normal mode, I died maybe twice due to not paying attention to my health. On Hard, I didn't die any more often, but fights did take far longer despite not being any harder. NPC's are programmed badly, get stuck often, don't take cover, and run straight into any trap you lay for them, which is good because the janky gunplay will occasionally fire bullets from your rifle at a near forty five degree angle from where you were aiming. That said, if all you want is an RPG where you can run around killing things and acting like a loot gremlin, it's not a bad time. The main quest isn't much fun since you spend a lot of time waiting for the real main character (your father) to finish talking to people, but wandering the wasteland seeking out weird encounters and goofing off is a fine enough romp. All in all, for me at least, it crashed way less than New Vegas did. That's about the end of my praises. I only give it a recommend because, despite the game not being good on a technical level in many aspects, it can still be fun.

I'll say as little as possible to avoid giving too much away. It's really fun. About as good as New Vegas, but far more depressing rather than exciting. Combat happens far too often for my taste, but I say that as someone who just isn't born to kill, and I know that many of you are. Enjoy, and make sure you go through the extensive patching process and visit the DLC areas earlier rather than later.
