Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 is truly a game of all time. Oh boy is that true. I can't really understand why I like it so much even if it stumbles doing the most basic mechanics of an RPG. Consider myself impressed! The good: The open world is a lot of fun fight me. It's 40% abandoned subways, 20% condemned houses, and 20% barren wastelands. I like looting things and finding ammo, food, and useful items. It tickles my monkey brain ok! The story is Jedi poodoo but there are a couple levels where it takes you where it's actually interesting. There's a ton of cool side missions I guess. The gameplay is weirdly fun? I think? Uhhhhh I also like Fawkes? I don't know man I'm really trying here. The game is surprisingly immersive for how bad the story and RPG mechanics are. Speaking of which... The bad: Basically everything else. I hate to be a debbie downer but what was the story about again? It's a load of nonsense that takes itself way too seriously. In a way that it loops back around to becoming ironically hilarious that Bethesda thinks your actually invested in it. Todd, my boy, I don't care! The obvious elephant in the room is the poor RPG stuff. You get: Be a goody tooshoes, Be a mercenary, be Hitler! There's no in-between and it sucks. The world can sometimes be tedious too, with just lazily designed structures. The dlcs are also buns (except the Pitt). Overall it's fine. I have WAY too many hours in this game to call it bad (despite what Steam may tell you). I prefer it any day over Fallout 4 but it's nowhere near as close to the quality as New Vegas. Whatever who cares. This is my first Fallout game. Viva la Fallout 3 suckers. Suck my fat one 6/10. "You think the metro is your ally? I was born in it, molded by it. If you use VATS a lot and build your character in a way that VATS (pause and select areas to target) is useful, then this is a great game. If you do not use VATS for shooting, it is a bad game. In my opinion. Because it is bad as a shooter. The graphics did not really age well, but now 2026 it is still playable and enjoyable IF you are clear that it is a game from 2009 with older graphics. If you use VATS for fights, then you can enjoy them. The real reason I still enjoy this game so much are the stories. There are a LOT of stories to find in the wastelands and everyone who talks to you has a voice. It is not just walls of text, you can lean back and enjoy all the different voices that tell you stories, ask for help or threaten you. It is a nice game, but not for everyone. I like it but even I have to force myself a bit to keep playing because I am missing all the cool features from Fallout 4 :-)

一本道シナリオで，メインシナリオをコンプリートするのに訪れる必要があるロケーションは，ゲーム内に設定されているロケーションの中のごく一部。「行動に自由度がある」とも受け取れるんだけど，育成方針に関しては強いPerk，無意味なPerkとある上に，レベルアップすると即座にPerk強制取得を求められ，システムを理解していないと高レベルだけど弱いキャラに陥る。強いキャラを作るには事前にプランを立ててPerkを取得していく必要がある。 未成熟感が強くて，レガシーなゲームだと考えてもSkyrimが2011年発売なので，うーん。

Fallout 3 es un gran juego para quienes no tienen ningún conocimiento sobre la saga. A pesar de ser un juego de 2008, me atrevería a decir que supera a algunos títulos AAA (cof, cof, Concord). Al principio piensas: «Hey, es un juego chill», pero luego te das cuenta de que cada acción tiene sus consecuencias y que estas cobrarán relevancia a medida que avances en la historia. Si quieres un juego para desconectarte de los shooters tácticos y de los gritos de tus amigos, este es tu juego.
