faceminer é um jogo bacana, mas eu sinto que podia ser algo bem mais alem, quando vc entende o ciclo de gameplay e consegue optimizar a producao, fica meio sem graca, mas é um jogo curto blz, o que me incomoda mesmo são as pontas soltas na historia, o plot de conspiracao que n foi bem explorado, e as questoes filosoficas que ficaram pairando no ar e não são levadas muito a frente.

At its a core, a very short and sweet game with a compelling gameplay loop that makes you complicit in the heat death of the world. This was my first experience with an idle clicker, but I was sold on its stellar soundtrack by MADWRECK and its vision of a not so theoretical future-past of 1999. Your monitor is just for Facemining at a modest but pathetic pace but your rig eventually grows to such comically huge proportions that you are forced to contend with your influence in this bleak world. The parallels to crypto mining and our dedication to constructing resource intensive data centers (an understatement) is very clear here. A very poignant and electrifying experience, excellent for its price point. In the end, I was graded as a “D-“ grade Faceminer so take my review with a grain of salt.

Un clicker avec une interface proustiennement nostalique des années 90 qui arrive à traiter d'un enjeu profondément central à l'heure actuelle : l'outil informatique est-il en train d'échapper à ses créateurs, et, en parallèle, à quel point l'informatique comme outil de coercition et d'aliénation parfait du capital arrive à ôter tout sens à la vie humaine. Le tout avec un gameplay simplissime et redoutable : vous cliquez sur des visages à en perdre la tête, jusqu'à automatiser petit à petit, tellement les tâches que vous effectuez sont abrutissantes. Jusqu'à ce que vous ne serviez plus à grand chose. Je ne m'attendais à rien en achetant ce jeu pour 2 ou 3 euros. J'en ressors avec un expérience jouissive, angoissante et puissante assez unique en son genre.
