Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 2.86/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8/day in the week to Jul 18 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Click. Click. Click.
Welcome to FACEMINER, where Every Face Has Value. Your job? Harvest biometric data, upgrade infrastructure, and expand your data processing empire as hard as Planet Earth can take it.
Set entirely within the confines of a vintage operating system, FACEMINER is a narrative-driven incremental management 'click-em-up' that tasks the player with building a planetary-scale biometric processing empire from scratch.
Harvest data, manage software upgrades, and expand your hardware as you rapidly scale your plant’s infrastructure. Ensure profits remain high and avoid bankruptcy (or worse) as you navigate oppressive electricity bills, high-maintenance cooling systems, and crooked politically-enforced carbon offsetting schemes.

Mining alone is no fun! Learn more about your fellow miners and keep up to date with the office gossip through the internal corporate messaging system. Sift through messages to unravel the mysteries – and ultimate plans – of the shadowy creators of the FACEMINER software suite.
Climb the corporate ladder and gradually rise through the ranks as you are promoted from manual data-filtering rookie through to the ultimate harvesting automator as you classify and sell facial data at ever-increasing speeds. The world of data brokering is ruthless, and poor prioritisation can lead to costly mistakes down the line. Do you have what it takes to climb the ranks and become the ultimate FACEMINER?

Featuring a tour-de-force of original 90s-infused tracks by Madwreck . From house to jungle to ambient, the built-in audio player will keep you locked in the zone while you click your way into A.I. history.
Completed the main game? Spend more times in the mines with 'Endless Mode', 'VR Mode' (for full 360 degree immersion), 'Infinite Money Glitch' mode and more.
Remember: Every Face Has Value.

Haha hey look the game is happening in real life. Like. Right now. Wow, horrors beyond comprehension.
"Capital is dead labour, which, vampire-like, lives only by sucking living labour, and lives the more, the more labour it sucks." wonderful and very thought-provoking
This game gets more and more depressing everyday due to current events. Nice incremental game, still.

FACEMINER is a unique, addictive thriller clicker. It's fair for its price tag, and doesn't overstay its welcome. Because it's a relatively short, compact experience, it never reaches the point of feeling like a mindless or draining grind. It's the perfect atmospheric game to fire up on a weekend or evening to get a complete, tightly paced story. I liked the gameplay loop of upgrading my hardware, optimizing my systems, and watching everything run. It felt satisfying, and didn't feel a tedious chore. On top of that, the 1990s dystopian thriller elements and general tension are executed brilliantly. It creates a fantastic, creepy vibe that isn't too stressful for a casual playthrough. That said, while I didn't mind the darker tone, the themes are definitely worth considering if you're a more sensitive person. If you're already naturally anxious about the future, surveillance, and technology, this narrative could easily creep into those territories and make you feel a bit uncomfortable. It isn't something I personally struggle with, but I know some people do, so it's worth knowing before jumping in. It is a wonderfully executed, highly immersive little simulation that respects your time and wallet. If you want a perfectly bite-sized, atmospheric dystopian puzzle to unwind with, I highly recommend picking this one up.
Dear Center Owners, A high volume of off-topic communications are being sent. We estimate this misuse of working hours has reduced output by 30%. We will impose sanctions for those involved should this continue. Thank you.
还可以,不算传统意义上的增量类游戏,前期甚至还有点容易暴死 但AI批量分析人脸数据的这种题材作者最后表达的担忧居然是……碳排放吗……?
This game will absolutely shock and horrify you. It made me feel disgusted a number of times... until it didn't, and that is even more horrifying given the subject matter. That said, I want to address something. This game does use GenAI and while I am normally absolutely against that, I have found an exception in this game. If a game has an AI disclosure on the Steam store saying they used it in making the game then I won't play it, but I accidentally ended up with a copy of this game through a bundle when I redeemed it without checking for AI use beforehand like I normally do. After reading about the subject matter and how it uses AI to challenge the usage of AI, I decided to play it in good faith. I am very glad I did. The game uses AI to educate the user as to why it is bad, much like how if you want to learn about violence you have to see past depictions of violence to truly understand. It shows you by making you train AI and realizing for yourself how companies using it are destroying the planet and creating a surveillance state, and worse, how they don't care. It shows you how carbon emission credits are useless and dangerous, how company green initiatives are PR nonsense, and how tech bros are wrapped up in their own cult-like activities. The game itself is engaging and clever in many ways. I like the idea of an incremental game that you can fail.. It added a tension not found in other games of the genre. But the game, while good, is not the point. This is a game that will change you. This is a game I will wholeheartedly recommend to people who support AI, hoping it will change them too. Peace and solidarity to the devs, a better world is possible.
Good Game, Do be aware that the game's Easy "Less grind" option removes a lot of actual content and not just grind.
