Face Noir

You're a washed-up, alcoholic ex-cop in the depths of the 1930s Depression. Scraping by is a daily struggle. You live off other people’s mistakes—and whiskey. The only things keeping you above water are a bottle of bourbon and a single glass of truth. I love this kind of game. It’s heavily story-driven with solid challenges along the way. The atmosphere is dark and moody, and you quickly lose yourself in the role of Jack Del Nero. I know Face Noir 2 was supposedly in the pipeline, but as far as I’m aware, it never saw the light of day. That’s a real shame, because I genuinely adore this game and would’ve jumped at the chance to play a sequel. I’m a huge fan of classic 2D “point-and-click” adventures. Sadly, they don’t get made much anymore. 3D has taken over the genre, and honestly, I doubt we’ll ever see a second installment—even if development somehow picks up again. So if you’re into atmospheric, noir-style 2D point-and-click games, this one’s a gem. The only downside? Some technical hiccups. Dialogues don’t always display correctly, which can leave you stuck without options. Your best bet is to tinker with the resolution settings and try again.

Los "Point & Click" no me suelen entusiasmar. Para que me llamen la atención tienen que ser auténticos juegazos... "Face Noir" no es un juegazo, me aburre. No lo recomiendo.

Nice adventure

Game stutters and stops on attempt to launch, video sequences are stalled, mouse movement is slowed to beyond being able to work the game. Pros: Nice idea, point and click noir-style detective game, from a studio that know how to make them Cons: Doesn't work, technically busted after reinstall Stilted voice acting from what I could tell
