Nach Fahrer und My-Team Karriere in 2025 Modus hätte ich das Spiel nicht empfohlen, es hatte sich einfach zu wenig geändert und verbessert. Wobei die Fahrer Karriere da am negativsten war, die Vertrags Mechaniken wurden zu den vorherigen Teilen sogar noch schlechter umgesetzt. Trotz Meistertitel wollte mich im zweiten Jahr nicht einmal Alpine unter Vertrag nehmen. :D Mit dem 2026 DLC wurde so gut wie alle Mechaniken verbessert. Das fahren an sich gefällt mir mit Boost-Modus, der zum Anfang einer Runde freigeschaltet wird und nicht mehr wie vorher mit DRS vor einzelnen Geraden, deutlich besser. Die Fahrer-KI ist nun viel aggressiver, vor allem Verfolger lassen jetzt nicht mehr so einfach locker und versuchen Abstände zu schließen statt sie zu verwalten wie es früher oft der Fall war. Nun habe ich auch die Story von Braking Point 3 durchgespielt, die noch mal etwas umfangreicher ist als 1 und 2 und schönen Abschluss mit Happy End bringt. ich bin sehr froh dass ich mir noch am Ende die Zeit genommen habe Braking Point abzuschließen, war am Ende sehr schön. Meine Empfehlung für jeden der F1 Fan, aber nur mit dem 26 DLC zusammen. Man muss sich aber auf keinen Fall jedes Jahr den neuesten Teil holen, dazu verändert sich von Teil zu Teil einfach zu wenig.

I just want to play the game, I don't want to fight through 20 menus and animations before I can play the game. God forbid I mis-click and then I have to go through 40 menus instead.

After they released the update with the 2026 DLC I am no longer able to run the game properly on my system. (7800X3D + RTX 5070) Even on ultra low settings I am unable to get an average fps above 50. I don't know how they are so incompetent, but here we are anyway. I can't believe they not only skimp out on coop mode in the DLC but then also manage to ruin the performance at the same time. Good job EA.

A really fun game. If it's your first title it can be a bit hard at the beginning to pick it up. Thankfully with assists you can basically turn the game into to hold the gas pedal (as there is both steer assist and full break assist). On the other hand for simracers it also allows to play a full on simulation where you have no traction control and ABS and can spin out in seconds. What i would recommend for most players is just turning off break assist and steer control and if you have extra buttons or want more interactability use manual gears. Campaign has a huge problem if you choose to go through F2 first you might notice drivers that realistically shouldn't be in F2. F2 then acts as a continous intro section not allowing you to change any of your settings until you reach F1 which assuming you set the full weekend structure means dozens of hours of gameplay as an intro. Luckily you can change all settings including weekend structure upon reaching f1. Another bad thing i find is the fact if you toggle manual ERS you are fully responsible for ERS deployment including stuff that would be normally the job of race engineers. Having auto ERS also prevents you from going manually into overtake. There is no inbetween either you have to do the job of race engineers or you have to rely on the AI to properly maange your battery. The AI drivers also have some slight issues in happily running you off the track as well as having a weird skill difference between qually and race. You could beat your teammate by something like 1 tenth in qually but then in a race man will fall back several seconds in like 5-10 laps. But all in all still a great game

After over 100 hours the game now just doesn't boot up after the initial launch phase. Great.

Game has become unstable sinc recent updates (I think the 2026 stuff). I've only made it to Mexico in my first season - yesterday the game just quit on me in Q2. I packed up and went to bed. Tonight, couldn't continue - kept hanging on loading Q2 but it would play the other stuff (garage something I haven't bothered with). Checked file integrity - 9 files neeed replacing. Finally got into Q2, yay. And Q3. Then, in race I'm coming up to pit window (not called in yet) and the game quits on me again, mid corner. I can't be bothered with that sort of rubbish.
