Interesting and very fun gameplay mechanics. The simple act of clearing darkness is very satifying, combined with a good amount of randomness, interesting story, good music, and great art, this is one of my new favorite games I recently obtained (though I've been pretty busy lately so haven't gotten to play it as much as I'd like)

Definitely a fun roguelight. I love the concept and the ability to learn things on my own without feeling overwhelmed or feel like there will be some massive negative consequence for "picking the wrong thing". The music is also top tier and wasn't expecting there to be so many bops. The enemy design is very fun and the attack patterns of the bosses manage to stand out from each other. The game feels like it could really do with some voice acting; during the story bits the game felt too slow even for a bit of down time.

if you ever played flash games online that will make you remember how fells like to play a hard but fun game rouguelike where you use the mouse and arrows on a 2d perspective.
