very fun ! cute artstyle
Basically, it gets harder as you go along and nothing else. Very boring.
J'ai adoré détester ce jeu
The concept behind this game is neat, having your weapon also be your one way of seeing in the dark. But the fact that the darkness just permanently goes away once you shine your light at it makes the "one way of seeing in the dark" part of the game's concept fall appart. You can just get yourself a fast firing flashlight, fire in all directions the moment you see anything dark and there ya go, no more of that pesky sense of dread the idea of not being able to see brings. Outside of that, the game is fun if not generic. I can only recommend it if you're into roguelikes and can't find anything to sink your teeth in
This game is decently enjoyable, but if I was rating it I'd give it a 6-7/10. It's not something I'd recommend to someone, but definitely not something I'd tell them to avoid. The GOOD Game play is fun, it's a twin stick platformer where your weapon has a limited range. Combat starts simple and ramps up with more enemies and bullets on screen forcing you to constantly move while staying close enough to do damage. Basic movement is functionally and some gadgets you get can open up a few more options. The controls are funky, but once you get used to them they actually make a lot of sense and fell good. The art is charming and wonderfully detailed. Some of the tracks are bops. Meta/plot progression starts at a good clip giving you new enemies and unlocks for runs fast enough to keep things interesting. THE BAD Sparce lines on black is not visually appealing or discernible for a lot of people, I didn't have much issue with it, but I can see that someone could. The music sort of fits each area, if it wasn't all chiptune. The songs are good, but they stand out against the smooth and defined art of everything. The game play can get repetitive after a while since you'll run out of things to unlock long before the game says the plot is over. The last act drags on way to long, and I eventually resorted to turning on invincibility(which is a plus, but shouldn't be something you resort to out of boredom) Also a minor thing, but at least one of the achievements is bugged and doesn't even accurately describe what it wants you to do.
Рисовка прикольная остальное всё мимо, особенно управление, если вы уже предпенсионного возраста. И накуя всё так усложнять?
It is almost a much more casual and cozier Little Nightmares. Great graphics, great music, pretty decent level design.
So on the one hand it's gorgeous. The writing's unexpectedly deft. The core concept is solid, and when you have a good weapon and decent damage it's fun. On the other hand the controls are weirdly sticky. The dash has a mind of its own, and ropes like to ensnare you in their horrible embrace. Only a couple of the flashlights are useable, everything else requires you to manually give a proctology exam to deal damage. Also, the roguelike progression is a little busted. You earn (rather small) amounts of currency from your runs, which you can use to enable more items to appear in the game, but uh. Most of the items already appear in the main game. And the ones that don't are bad. You don't want to unlock them. They make it harder to find the two useable flashlights. So the whole progression system is sort of a wash. There's also a run modifiers system that requires you to select a package with a boon and a bane every area. Cool! Unfortunately 75% of the boons are garbage and 25% of the banes are awful and sometimes the rng hands you a choice between your run sucks from now on and your run sucks from now on. There's even a bane that turns off your map and it's totally harmless, basically the best bane you could pick, but it's also super annoying. It won't lose you runs, it just makes them take longer. This is all to say, if you've played a lot of stuff in the genre, you might find Eyes annoying. Or not! It's also quite fresh! The art style is, again, unique and lovely, and it channels a midpoint between Edward Gorey and The Simpsons. The soundtrack ranges from totally fine to really creative, with the crow's croaks on his song being an unexpected standout. And when you are not trying to air dash, or near a rope, or using any of the incorrect flashlights, or under an "enemies take less damage" modifier, or getting screwed by a lack of +damage battery drops, it's a really great time. I hope we get more from this developer, because Eyes is a flawed gem that's great for casual play. I wouldn't go into it expecting Rogue Legacy, but it's great to pick at over a couple days.
If Coraline were a [strike] rogue-lite [/strike] rogue-LIGHT
Fun game, beautiful art. Lack of colors annoys me after a bit, but thats a personal preference.
