Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Story
The main heroine of the game, Arisa, because of the breakdown of the spaceship gets to an unusual and beautiful planet full of various monsters, which was not in her plans. You will need to help the heroine to fix the ship and get out of this planet, which is not so easy, on the way to complete several tasks and solve the mysteries that keep this mysterious planet.
In your adventure you will be assisted by a robot helper named Derk. He is very fond of teasing the main character, because of which there will be a lot of funny situations in the game.
Gameplay
In this hand drawn world you will have to solve a lot of mysteries and find a lot of treasures, as well as fight a lot of terrible monsters, although some of them are quite cute. Climb into hard to reach places, sink to the bottom of the ocean in a submarine, ride on an abandoned railroad and, of course, collect a lot of upgrades for the main character.

The game looks promising and beautiful yet let down by the need to grind for upgrades, especially the submarine and weapon which you both need for a certain map. Then the game throws you at the deep end with the bosses that feel like Dark Soul/ Hollow Knight-eque difficulty for early bosses. There's no hand holding in the game and you end learning to fend for yourself. If you want the tutorials on, you have to unchecked the box so it's not orange and it only activates in process of order you should encounter them. I thought the box was selected but it wasn't and it was a painful start to backtrack all the way to the start because of the save operates in the game. If you die, you spawn back to the last save point. It was a hassle to travel all the way back to the area you were in. The underwater level was by far the most painful experience I have ever experienced in a video game. You get instant killed and no indicator on health gauge if taken damage or not until death (might be a visual glitch.) No way to heal under water. I wish to like the game but all these factors made it not enjoyable overall. Dislike the birds and underwater boss a lot.

HAND DRAWN? Game looks amazing. Pretty decent Metroidvania and cheap entry point! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_vPx91TTbk Steam Recommendations YouTube TikTok
Exploaris: Vermis Story is a side-scrolling Metroidvania where you play as Arisa, a stranded space explorer trying to survive and figure out what’s going on across a series of colorful alien maps. It’s got a soft, almost storybook vibe to it with a good focus on puzzles and exploration. Pros: ✔️ Lovely Character and Monster Design: I really liked how soft and charming everything looked. It gave the game a unique feeling compared to a lot of harsher sci-fi stuff. ✔️ Well Thought-Out Maps: The map layouts and puzzles felt like they had a lot of care put into them. Exploring never felt repetitive. ✔️ Great Music: The soundtrack was really nice to have in the background. It fit the tone perfectly without getting annoying. Cons: ❌ Controls Feel Clunky: There’s definitely a bit of a delay sometimes when moving or jumping, and it made some parts a little more frustrating than they needed to be. ❌ Poorly Explained Mechanics: The game doesn’t really teach you how to do a lot of the things you need to do, so there’s a lot of trial and error early on. ❌ Enemy AI is Weak: Enemies don’t really react to you much, which made combat feel kind of pointless after a while. Conclusion: Honestly, Exploaris: Vermis Story isn’t a bad game at all, especially for the price. I loved a lot of the ideas and the world they created, but it definitely needs some fine-tuning to really deliver the full package. I’m hoping by full release it tightens up the gameplay, because there’s a lot of charm here that deserves to shine a little brighter. Score: 6 out of 10 lost space boots—a cute little adventure that needs a little more rocket fuel.
Exploaris: Vermis story, or because i am too lazy to write it few more times E:VS is an Metroidvania/Platformer with some RPG elements. You are playing with the young and sexy (or i am already in the age where all young ladies are sexy?) Arisa, trying to find her way out of an unknown planet. Because her spaceship crashed on that planet. Because she spilled coffee on the control deck. Yep. Anyway, Arisa need to kill a lot of cute aliens, unlock different skills and weapons, and find the needed minerals to repair her ship. All that in really nice world, with great art style and...extremely annoying and repetitive music. Seriously, turn it of before even starting the game (as you cannot access the settings while playing). The game have a lot of potential and it's THAT close to be really good. As i said the art style is really nice and the gameplay could be really fun if... - The game wasn't so slow. Arisa is toddling around with the speed of three legged turtle, the different mechanical parts from the different puzzles are taking ages to go from point A to point B. The bosses, however, or at least the one i faces apparently are using illegal...minerals and are way faster than you. - The tutorial was better. There a lot of thing the tutorial is not explaining well, there are some things that are explained in a wrong way, and there are things that are not mentioned at all. I mean, come on, how hard could be to write few correct instructions? For instance, one of the first tips is how you can double jump/or do high jump. Cool. I spent 10 minutes trying and scratching my head what is wrong with me. The answer - you need to collect the proper minerals and obtain the skill of high jump first. Something that i wasn't able to do in the first hour of playing. - The music. Really? I mean, if you like me are old enough to have memories of the 8 bit era games, think about the Nintendo game with worst music you can. Well, the music in E:VS is at least that bad. The good news is that the game is in early access, so the devs have time to fix some things and provide one really nice metroidvania with version 1.0 Video: https://youtu.be/qobeTBZGq8Y
