ExoCross is an offroad racing game introducing 4CPT vehicle physics (4-way contact patch traction technology). A soft-body tire model allows for competitive time attack and multiplayer wheel to wheel racing.

Nestled within galaxy NGC 43324 lies the earth-like planet Proteus, the home of ExoCross! Take on a (literally) out-of-this-world racing challenge featuring wild off-road terrain, powerful open-wheel vehicles, slipstream-powered boosts, and unparalleled handling, and see if you can become the greatest off-road racer in the galaxy!
4CPT physics: Fully-simulated chassis and suspension components and a soft-body tire model create realistic weight transfer and understeer/oversteer. Bring your rallying and off-road skills to Proteus and you’ll be rewarded!
Slipstream and boosts: Put the power down in the right places to charge past your opponents, or slot in behind them to recharge your boost as quickly as possible.
Three unique cars: Take the wheel of three distinct cars, each more challenging and powerful than the last. Start off in the approachable Vulcan XC-1500, enhance your skills in the more powerful Orion XC-3000, and see if you’ve got what it takes to master the fire-breathing Titan XC-7000.

Dozens of circuits: Do battle on 19 distinct track layouts—each raceable in both directions—across four unique zones. From desert-like sands to forest dirt, pavement, and even a track high above the ground, you’ve never seen racing like this.
AI Racing and Career Mode: Advance through six racing series, two per car, to establish yourself as the top driver in ExoCross, going into battle with challenging AI opponents in up to 10-race seasons. Just want to pick up and play? Pick any car and track combo you want and hit the track!
Challenge Mode: Take on 48 unique challenges across all four zones and showcase your top speed against a global leaderboard.
Online racing: Face off with global players in a mix of Challenges and circuit races, with player votes determining every car and track selection. When the community decides, will you have the skills to make the best of the rounds ahead?

Its a fantastic single player racer, I say single player because at the time of writing this review there are 2 players playing the game according to steamdb. BUT DONT LET THAT DISCOURAGE YOU!!! the game is really REALLY good for what it is! Pros performance is really optimized fantastic handling good A.I good amount of track configurations. (4 environments with tracks cut up among a huge track wiith a good amount of configurations. CAMPAIGN(in a racing game on pc this is huge) and other game modes like time trial and challenges that randomly generate. Cons 3 cars total very light Force feedback for wheels (so weird since this is iracing engine and devs...) No manual transmission (again iracing devs and engine....wtf( zero online playerbase abandoned by devs. TLDR fantastic offroad/onroad/spacerock racking sim that was abandoned WAY too soon and has no life in the online multiplayer. I bought the game for 4$ during summer sale and have ZERO regrets but for 20$ thats a steep ask.
After an hour of playing, I can confidently say that this is a video game. I never really paid attention to the story, but here's what I did pick up. The current hyper-futuristic world is unfit for racing, so they discovered another planet and linked up some super fancy RC cars to super fancy sim rigs. This started ExoCross as we know in the game. The overall gameplay is alright, I've played entirely on an XBox controller for context. The cars feel heavy and have noticeable differences driving on dirt and asphalt. The dirt especially feels nice to drive on, I don't know how realistic it is however. The CPU is not great. This seems to be a well used statement in other reviews of the game, and it's a valid point. Asides from turns one and two, the CPU will stay on the main line. Usually they also have no awareness of the player if you happen to be next to the main line. With this, the first three championships are very easy once you understand the general controls. Speaking of championships, the game has a few modes. Obviously Championship Mode, where you race Grand Prix with pre-determined tracks. A Quick Race and Time Trial mode, and a Challenge Mode. The Challenge Mode is a standard "License Test" style mode. Meaning that you'll have to complete a certain section of track in a certain amount of time to get trophies from Bronze to Gold. The game also has online play, which I haven't bothered to try. I don't think I could recommend this game at the standard $19.99, or even discounted by itself. Wait for the bundle with World of Outlaws to go on sale, then get it (that's what I did). I generally like the game and will probably play more, but I can definitely see why the game has mixed reviews. While the car feels decent, the CPU racing is bad. The physics are good, but the map and surface variation are not all there. The story is pretty much irrelevant. To conclude, get it with World of Outlaws 24. Then at least if you don't like ExoCross, you'll probably like World of Outlaws.

Bonnes sensations de pilotage. Design soigné. Moteur de rendu solide. Lancement rapide, en 30 sec à peine on joue. Bon jeu!
Not bad, I like it. The keyboard is a bit difficult to use due to the lack of a gamepad, it's good that it runs well on a low end pc or without dedicated GPU. It's not right that there is no advanced control facility with the keyboard
Overall recommend. At the default price of a hair under 20, it's kindof hard to recommend as it seems it won't be getting anymore support, so for just under 3hrs of play in the championship it's light on content for sure: Only 4 or 5 cars, 3 different biomes and just a handful of tracks... $20 might be a tall ask, but for the current sale for $3,99 it's a steal. I love the car physics, graphically it's no slouch, while audio could be more varied, it's clear and isn't grating at least. Story is paper thin, who cares it's cars going vroom. It's honestly too easy if I'm being honest. I'm a fan of physics based things, so once I got a handle on the implementation it was a breeze. Had to turn off the traction control and stability even.
An outstanding little game, it’s very small but has great physics and visuals! Some aspects remind me of Fuel, I hope they get to make another game in this style in the future. Recommend on sale
Otimo jogo pra relaxar
Con unas físicas muy logradas conducir en este juego resulta bastante satisfactorio.
