This is a great choice for indie platformer fans looking for a unique premise and a fair challenge to their skills.
Simple but tedious & repetitive. Mostly you're just avoiding traps and having to platform to execute the jumps at correct timing. Movement/jumping felt off to me. World feels small and constrictive (not very exploratory, basically always funneled one way). IDK, just not vibing with this one.
An interesting game made in pixel style. You will discover new locations by passing challenges and overcoming traps. It's worth a try
Used to be a kitchen master now I’m a zombie with a blender and a craving for BBQ sauce - my ex-customers are my side dishes.
An explosive game that will definitely draw you into its wonderful gameplay. I recommend playing and buying this game, as it doesn’t cost much!
You begin as nothing more than an undead head, brought back from the grave by your teacher and sent on a strange journey to recover the rest of your scattered body parts. The world you explore has charming pixel art and bright, colorful visuals, though its overall size feels closer to a single biome from a larger metroidvania once fully uncovered. Your progress depends on finding new body pieces, each one unlocking a new ability. At first, as just a head, you can only manage a basic jump. Very early on, you gain a body that lets you jump higher and climb ladders, which immediately opens up more of the world. Later, you learn a downward attack that effectively gives you a double jump. It can only be used once per jump, but if you defeat an enemy with it, the move resets, allowing you to chain jumps together. As you continue, you unlock the ability to push blocks and even detach your head, letting you roll through tight spaces that were previously out of reach. Even though the world appears open, progression is quite structured. You find a new ability, then move forward along the one path that requires it. Then the cycle repeats, guiding you step by step through the adventure. The map is only accessible from your home, which you can return to using scrolls. These scrolls are limited and do not replenish, so you have to think carefully about when to use them, whether to avoid backtracking or simply to remind yourself of your next goal. The map conveniently marks your destination with a red cross, which helps keep you on track. Checkpoints are placed throughout the world, but because the map is relatively small, they can feel far apart. The game is not especially difficult overall, yet individual rooms can be packed with enemies and traps. Since you die instantly upon contact and have no extra health, even simple mistakes can send you back, sometimes forcing you to replay several challenging sections before reaching safety again. Enemies do not drop rewards, and there are no traditional treasures to find. Instead, you collect trophies that register immediately upon pickup, even if you die right after. These collectibles are not optional, as you need all of them to trigger the final boss fight. There are only two bosses, and both have straightforward patterns that are easy to learn. Once you have acquired all abilities, you can fully explore everything the game offers. Still, because the world is small, the entire experience can comfortably be completed in a single afternoon.
Such a cute zombie. This is an oldschool pixel platformer, just like on our button phones. There are many levels and the locations are very large. In each section we are faced with a couple of enemies and we need to find a unique way to go further. If you enjoy a bit challenging games that require you to show some skill, try this one. You might really like a couple of moments.
If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;)
The further - The better♥️

Played about 5 hours of Ex-Master, Zombie and the atmosphere really got me. Exploring dark underground locations as a disembodied head slowly reclaiming your body feels unique and strangely immersive. The metroidvania progression, moody visuals, and fitting sound design work together to create a world that is fun to discover and easy to lose time in.
I'll be honest, it was an unusual experience, but I really, really enjoyed the game. The graphics are decent, and the platformer genre is brilliantly executed. I recommend playing it at least once.
A short but enjoyable metroidvania. You put yourself back together and unlock new abilities. The idea is cool, and the gameplay is addictive. For the price, it's excellent
