i bought this on initial release but i was too young to really understand it. here i am over 20yrs later replaying it! funny thing is i had forgotten its name but it kept haunting me. still cool today!

Today, it may seem like a nostalgic title—but for me, it remains a truly unique experience. The way your team evolved by absorbing DNA from enemies kept the gameplay fresh and strategic. Its vibrant world, bizarre creatures, and tactical approach are still vivid in my memory. Evolva wasn't just a game—it was a bold vision of what the future of gaming could look like at the turn of the millennium. Technology has moved on, but the mark Evolva left remains. That’s why this game still holds a special place in my heart.

No funciona el juego con la interfaz de Steam, hay que ejecutar Evolva.exe dentro de los archivos locales del juego. Respecto al juego en sí... Creo que el mayor atractivo es la nostalgia de volver a jugarlo.

One of those games that could really use a remaster. I replayed it so many times, I couldn't count, graphics wise its plaine but there is something alien about it. You can cheese some of the enemies, tho' the later stages get harder. Mutating new skills is a unique system, as it not only lets you discover weapons, if you delay it, you get stronger options later, so you can solo play most of the game, then have the buffed team at the end. If anything, I wish there were more levels, because the last stage gives you the last weapon and then there is no gameplay to try and test your ultimate Genohunters, buffed or not. My childhood memories.
