I got bored pretty quickly here. I applaud the game for trying to mash together so many genres and ideas but I don't think it succeeds at that goal.
incrível, só joga cara

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Terrible frame rate for a game that's very basic. I was enjoying it but couldn't stomach the stuttering. Poorly optimized.
Like its predecessor, this game is a love letter to the classics. In Evoland 2, many more styles of games are represented. From turn-based RPGs, to beat-em-ups, to fighting games, to even guitar hero. The core of the game is still in the style of JPRGs, so if that's your cup of tea you'll be guaranteed to have a blast with this one. I'm writing this review a long time after I've played it. Looking back, compared to Evoland 1, the sequel Evoland 2 improves on the formula in every way. It's longer, the world's bigger, it has more characters, etc. There's so much more content and way more variety. While more variety is good, the gameplay being all over the place makes it more forgettable. I remembered bits of Evoland 1, I remembered nothing of Evoland 2 and had to try hard to refresh my memory. That doesn't make it bad by any means, but I think it's worth pointing out. It's a fun journey, not a very memorable one. Great for casual fun.
