Wer "Zelda, A link to the past" mochte, sollte hier zuschlagen. Aber auch alle die diese Art von Spiel mögen sollten Spaß daran haben! Eine wirklich nette Reise durch die Grafik- und Spielgeschichte Ein bisschen weniger Backtracking, dann wäre es eine 10 von 10
It's good! I was expecting something a lot more gimmicky than it actually was. It does a great job of balancing the video game references and evolution of the medium with the real story. Its a lot like Chrono Trigger in a lot of ways story-wise, and I enjoyed it. There were a few sections i liked less than others (The Demonia Campaign felt like it could have been a bit more fleshed out) but overall i had a great time.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I recommend this game with caution. The story is fun, the characters are great, the concept is intriguing, and there are lots of little moments that fans of just about every genre will enjoy. This game was made by geeks and nerds for geeks and nerds. HOWEVER, the gameplay peaks at 2005 Nintendo. The only evolution is the graphics, as there is no real difference in combat or travel between any of the three eras you visit, and there definitely came a point where I wasn't playing because it was fun, but because I had put thirty hours into the game, I might as well finish it. Which, honestly, didn't give me a sense of accomplishment, but more of a sense of exhausted relief like I had finished deep cleaning my apartment before guests arrived. The challenges and boss fights rely heavily (almost exclusively) on arcade and rouge-like style gameplay, which I generally am not a fan of. Some of the moments, both in combat and in story, toe the line between "homage" and "blatant ripoff", and it's very difficult to play without a controller. There are some fun mini games that distract from the main plot like a CCG and some hidden gems I won't spoil, and having 30+ hours of gameplay makes it worth the money, but make sure you know what you're getting into first.
