Had it in my library for quite some time, and finally decided to give it a go. Glad I did, as it's a fun game. First game of this type for me, so have no other source for comparison, but I think it's a great game with a lot going for it.

love just floating around in space. beautiful game love it to bits! 8.5/10
at first then game looked good, then around level 10 the progress extremely slowed down and enemies got completely overpowered until about level 15 when it felt normal again. but probably only because one quest gave me a legendary weapon. other than that it felt like an ok space arcade game, which however often gets interrupted by annoying puzzle sequences. overall it felt more like it's based on item drop luck than skill. it's okay for a sale game, if you can handle annoying puzzles with drone mechanics that have the worst controls i ever experienced in a space game. but don't get it at full price, it's not worth the full price i would give it a 2.5/5 (not bad yet not good either, and can bring both, a bit of fun and annoyance to you) for me it was a bit too annoying with an average story and wasted time for travel (loading screens for travel mode and waiting until arrival felt like a waste of time rather than an experience)

Everspace 2 is an amazing game. Where should one begin? Maybe the super fun and satisfying combat system, maybe the awesome explosions, weapons, sound, the mesmerizing visual landscapes, the technical polishing this game has? I had one crash in 250 hours and I play on Linux, I have seen two minor bugs. There's so much to love in this game but does it have its cons? Sure, like other people have commented, the storyline is linear, you have no choice in answers, which feels odd sometimes when your character accepts every side quest he comes across like risking his life for strangers he just met with little prospect of reward. Much of the voice acting was super overacted and some of the characters like Maddox are just annoying and cringe. This was my biggest gripe but honestly there was so much awesome stuff in this I just went with it. The DLC Wrath of the Ancients has an awesome story. People who like Star Trek or sci fi in general would be very interested in this I believe as you dive deep into the foreign culture of the Okkar and see the inner workings of their religion and politics. To me this DLC's story feels way better and more intriguing than the main story line for some reason. What are Everspace 2 strongest points? The visuals, level design, sound effects, space combat system, the loot mechanic? I'll let you decide.
This is one of those games that is an instant classic. Its replayable and keeps getting better and better with every update. It scratches the space exploration, arcade gaming mechganics that satisfy those who love crafting and rpging. Give it a go, download the demo and try it first.

Pues está muy guapo el juego en cámara de cockpit con track ir y es una pasada, lo estoy disfrutando un montón. El tema loot, combate y misiones muy currando y entretenido y visualmente muy resultón. Good job Rockfish Games!
Гринд гринд гринд, и все это ради бесполезной косметики и и самолетиков, которые между собой ничем особо не отличаются. Лучше поиграть снова во фрилансе, там есть моды, а лучше в вар тандер. Норм графон. Основной сюжет норм. Прикольные загадки, которые на разных локах по разному проходятся - круто. Нечего в игре делать кроме квестов и гонок с французом роботом-долбоебом, которого не догадывается, что гг забанил его в компутерной игре. После покупки некоторых пушек и самолетиков не ощущается разница в 2-3 левела. Особенно круто когда тебе легендарную пушку и турбонадув нах после простеньких квестов). В целом, игра на часиков 20 сойдет, дальше унылый дрочь, выше 21 лвл не апнулся, ♥♥♥♥ реп этот.
