Everhood

It's a really good game with a deeper meaning, even tho it's short. The fights and song are also really cool. Definetly would recommend. Deserves to not be niche fr.

I see Everhood as an amazing game with a very unique mix of genres. The game has amazing battles, story, and characters that I found very memorable. On the other hand though, I started the game on the highest difficulty available at the start and I still found the game very easy, with the only major choke points for me being the last few enemies because of how hard the background and visual effects were on my eyes. It eventually got bad enough that I temporarily enabled a few settings just so I could finish the game! While I didn't have as much trouble on the sequel with visuals and that I think that Everhood 2 has the better battles, the game has such a good story and sense of humor that can turn a good game into one of the greatest games of all time. 10/10, if I didn't get gifted this this would be one of the only games I'd be willing to pay $90 for!

I'd really enjoy this as a bullet hell / rhythm game if the notes appeared just a fraction earlier. As it is there's more about memorising the tracks than reacting and responding
