It's so strange, that make this game good! SMT Persona vibes with little humor and strange animations
Game is janky. combat is boring.
At first, I somehow stumbled across this game on Steam. After checking out the screenshots, I wasn't particularly impressed by the visuals and thought, *"Should I even buy this?"* At the time, I was mainly looking for anime-style games with eye-catching graphics. Fortunately, the game had a demo available, so I decided to give it a try (after all, it cost me nothing). And... OMG... this game is REALLY GOOD. I got completely hooked for about 50 minutes straight while playing the demo, and I have to admit that I was totally wrong for judging the game solely based on its graphics and assuming it had no potential. Don't make the same mistake I did. The demo is still available, so give it a shot and decide for yourself whether it's worth buying. Personally, I think it's absolutely worth every penny. If you're a fan of the Persona-style formula and the way this genre is executed, then you absolutely have to try Eternights. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! Of course, the game isn't perfect, and there are a few things that could be improved. I only have one minor piece of feedback (and honestly, the overall experience more than makes up for it): the combat. Specifically, dodging attacks feels a bit difficult because the timing window is hard to judge, and it's not always easy to tell when an enemy is about to attack. That's really my only complaint. I'm looking forward to the developer's next game—or even an Eternights sequel. Honestly, either would be great. As long as the developers continue building on the strengths that made Eternights so enjoyable and keep making similar games, I'll be there to support them!
9.5 hours in so far and I’m really liking this game. Characters are all really likable. The visuals are great. I love the lighting and soundtrack. I’m looking forward to continuing my playthrough. The mini games were tough for me at first. The tutorials aren’t great. I had to look up how to do them correctly. I got stuck at the very first dance mini game for awhile. That was frustrating but I luckily figured out the timing and got passed it and passed the second one with no problem. That’s my only complaint with it. Overall I would recommend this game and I can’t wait to see what this studio does next.
A beautiful story...... Go play it for your self
Yes.
despite the game feeling short it was overall a great game the story was fun, the characters are memorable and the voice acting was surprisingly on point so if you want a lighter anime horror with low difficulty romance features and fast paced active combat this is definitely it.
I got the game on sale. A fun SHORT Persona like experience, while it is a daiting sim I appreciate that they kept the fan service to a minimum. For me, the combat is a mixed bag. I didn't enjoy the combination of heavy combat (commitment to the attack) with the hack and slash combos. It felt weird in some areas where there are multiple ranged mobs and a miniboss you either start the combo and hope for the best, or you wait till you can slow time for a safe execution. The LI abilities and how the interaction with them feeds into the fighting aspect was cool, and you really feel the difference. Since it's kinda similar to a VN, I wish there was an auto dialogue button and a skip button for replayability. The game could use some lighting adjustments; it's really hard to see clearly in some dungeons. I'll keep an eye out for the studio's next game.
战斗方面做的不太好,但起码是个合格的产品
Okay game. Story is serviceable, some funny moments. Great cast of VA. Combat is so janky though.
