About
IMPORTANT : Each run lasts 20 real-time minutes, but exploring the world, uncovering its secrets, and realizing what was possible all along can keep you discovering for much longer.
Eternal Afternoon is a poetic walking sim about wasting time before the end of the world. You play as Sasha, a 10-year-old boy wandering his neighborhood in the final minutes before a giant black wave swallows everything.

Retro nostalgic visuals & authentic atmosphere – a suburban block in the summer of 2001, recreated with care.
A chilling meditation on time, death, and the inevitable – experience the quiet dread of a world that ends in twenty minutes.
Story through exploration – uncover small moments, side quests, and fragments of mystery woven into the neighborhood.
Built with replayability and speedrun in mind – no save system, no upgrades; your only progress is knowledge of how the world works and how everything connects.

One of the most special and unusual games that I played. It's a bit like groundhog day in the sense that you need to replay many times to figure out the next clue to continue. It's a game with Nostalgia, love, sadness and wondering about life. Short experience but well worth it.
Дуже гарна та не звична гра з купою секретів. Окреме дякую за українську мову!
A beautifully rendered and originally conceived game! Great for 80s nostalgia, too.

Such a bummer that gen AI was used. A lot of people I know won't play this now.
What a sweet sweet game. A calm walking simulator where you can walk around the neighborhood before the world ends. Or is it? So much stuff is packed in this little gem. Secrets for you to discover, people to talk to, little moments from the past. And from the future. This game can be a walking sim; a first person shooter, a platformer, a metrioidbrainia, an ars-poetic reflection of video games, or a nostalgic reflection of life itself; if you want it to be. The amount of things to discover in this little neighborhood is immense. I got hooked from the first play until I uncovered everything.
the way it looks, the music, the mystery, loved everything about it. absolutely recommend it!
the countdown the minigames the environment, nothing was enjoyable in this game to be honest didn't really dig it at all
I was hooked playing this until I unlocked all the secret endings. It has a great “end of the world” mechanic that is reminiscent of Majora’s Mask. ממש אהבתי את היכולת לשחק בעברית !
This game is too underrated! Played it 3 times, 3 different storries - same ending, and now and then i'm thinking about it, I'm a 90's millenial and the setting of this game hits so hard especially if you spent your childhood in a post-soviet country. but then you start thinking about the meaning of life itself, the more I think about this game the more tears comes out.. now I want to play it one more time but I'm afraid I won't be able to finish my plans again. Thank you Alex! Thanks for giving us the choises. Pure piece of art, peace!
I love how it captures the feeling of childhood in unexpected ways. For instance, the fact that the game is 20 minutes that start over and over again, really reminds me of old games that weren’t made to be epic adventures, but contained experiences that you play over and over and keep finding something new. It really brought back the genuine feeling of discovery you would get from a flash game or playing the PS1 without a memory card.
