About
IMPORTANT : Each run lasts 20 real-time minutes, but exploring the world, uncovering its secrets, and realizing what was possible all along can keep you discovering for much longer.
Eternal Afternoon is a poetic walking sim about wasting time before the end of the world. You play as Sasha, a 10-year-old boy wandering his neighborhood in the final minutes before a giant black wave swallows everything.

Retro nostalgic visuals & authentic atmosphere – a suburban block in the summer of 2001, recreated with care.
A chilling meditation on time, death, and the inevitable – experience the quiet dread of a world that ends in twenty minutes.
Story through exploration – uncover small moments, side quests, and fragments of mystery woven into the neighborhood.
Built with replayability and speedrun in mind – no save system, no upgrades; your only progress is knowledge of how the world works and how everything connects.

Nice game but FREE PALESTINE
I grew up in this specific city myself in a very similar neighborhood in that specific time, so this was very refreshing and it gave a wave of nostalgia and longing for my childhood. I think the concept is interesting and original. It’s not your regular open-world exploration- once you find a specific clue, you’ll have to make everything right before time runs out in order to find a specific ending, and there are lots of them. It was really exciting to find those hidden clues and objects. In general I enjoyed roaming around in the neighborhood like I was a child again. I highly recommend this game for anyone who’s looking for a challenge, and also have a fresh look at a different environment from what you usually see in media. Thank you Alex for making this game! :)

Just the vibe of the game is incredible and almost dreamlike. The soundtrack really helps is developing the emotions of the game. My favorite part of the game is how you choose what the emotion of the game is. It could be sad, it could be a new beginning for some.
free palestine
Well I've never played a game that looked so much like my childhood (and yes that complaint is directed both towards the lack of games that take place in the suburbs of the greater DC metropolitan area, as it is towards the lack of games set in suburban Israel). Also I'm glad I'm not the only person on the planet who hates texture filtering (may it burn in hell). What really caught my attention was just how easy it was to ignore the impending apocalypse, to treat our 20min peak into little Sasha's life as just another afternoon, not the last one, and just... do whatever. Play video-games, talk to strangers, ignore the strangers' problems so I could talk to them about videogames. Hmm... that reminds me of something, spending time with and about games and not confronting the inevitability of horror and mortality. *opens a news site to see today’s fresh hell* Hmm... *goes back to writing a review for a game* No, can't place why that would be so relatable.
Havent played a game like this in a long time! I enjoyed it so much!
