About
Welcome to One Man’s Trash – a satisfyingly absurd dig-'em-up where you vacuum your way through an ever-deepening trash pit in a desperate (and probably delusional) hunt for your lost "PitCoin" fortune.

Inspired by the true story of a man who accidentally threw away 8,000 Bitcoins, you play a down-on-his-luck miner who finally spends everything to buy a shady junkyard. Armed with nothing but a beefed-up vacuum cleaner, it’s your job to suck up garbage, find valuables, and dig deeper than anyone’s ever dared.

A dangerously addictive game loop:
Suck. Sell. Upgrade. Repeat. It's simple, satisfying, and impossible to put down.
Vacuum-based digging:
Carve through trash with satisfying game mechanics . Blow debris to build structures and escape deep holes.
Tons of bizarre items:
From toilets and traffic cones to ancient relics, lost consoles, cursed cartridges, and mythical collectibles.
Pop culture treasure hunt:
Collect legendary junk, unlock skins, track your finds, and show off your rarest trash trophies.
Deepening mystery:
The further you go, the weirder it gets. Uncover secret paths, eerie echoes, and things that maybe shouldn’t be down there.
Progression that hooks:
Upgrade your gear, expand your inventory, master the pit, and get filthy rich—or get hopelessly lost.
Built with satire and soul:
Solo-developed in Unreal Engine, featuring global language support and a self-aware sense of humor.
Will it even matter if you do?
All we know is: you’re gonna keep digging.

One Man's Trash is almost a good incremental game, but doesn't quite get there. The game is clearly trying to expand on Game About Digging a Hole, but doesn't understand the balance that game struck to keep it engaging for its short runtime. Upgrades in this game are tiny and lack impact. You often don't feel the effect of anything you're buying until you've accumulated several power-ups and realize "oh yeah, this IS slightly better." The game is also too long given the lack of variety. This game needed new forms of upgrades or progression introduced throughout its runtime if it wanted going to last more than an hour, but unfortunately what you see in the first 5 minutes is all you're going to get. As an example of what could have been, upgrades that aided in player movement would have been appreciated because movement is a constant pain point due to wonky controls and hitboxes. An effective incremental game repeatedly gives you a troublesome hurdle and dangles the solution just out of reach for you to pursue. You eventually obtain that solution and it's supposed to provide brief satisfaction until the next obstacle comes along and restarts the gameplay loop. This game does a well enough job at presenting the challenges, but the payoffs are rarely satisfying enough to drive the game's momentum forward.
I absolutely love this game. Started the whole "cozy" game thing with Leaf it Alone, and this scratches that itch perfectly. I am only 50 meters deep but have soooo much more to suck up. I keep wanting to vacuum everything up before going deeper. I think I need help guys.... Worth every single penny.
Played this on steam deck and it worked great. I love these digging games and this was one of the best ones. Loved the artifacts i found, like little easter eggs. I actually had a big silly grin on my face when I found a certain infamous game cartridge! I both liked and disliked the rope mechanic, but definitely not the limited vac space. I would have liked to fully clear the hole, but it would take way too long as is. Would highly recommend this game.
Janky, buggy horror game. 10 hours in I ran into a bad bug where all the dirt re-appeared on loading back into the game. This left me stuck pretty far down into the hole. Reported it, and heard nothing back. Gave it one more chance and started over on hard mode, and got randomly killed by a giant snake without warning. There are no weapons or anything to fight them with.
Crashes right after the intro, before I can play. Scanning the comments reveals it's a common problem. Looks like it would be exactly my type of game, but they gotta get some things sorted out first.
Grafik & Design: Optisch macht der Titel einiges her.

bruh. i just spent almost 4 hours playing, and i pressed quit. It gave me a message saying to save or id lose my data, so i canceled. But as soon as i did, the game shut off and now my hole ceases to exist. Im sad now 6/10
Fun to play, You dont get those tiny pebbles left flying in the air that can kill you as you ascent like other dig games.
