Escort Commander is an arcade space shooter blended with strategic and tactical gameplay elements. This is not another mindless shooter. Build your fleet. Outfit your colony. Upgrade your ship. Defend the last colony. Survive.

It's fun, but pretty hard and there is no option to change to easy mode. Expect to die a lot!
Basic and fun game.
Escort Commander certainly needs to undergo a lot of progress in order to become a great game, though the current concept isn't bad. Running around in your ship and protecting the base is kind of a pain, especially whenever the fighters that your colony has don't actually collect the resources whenever they destroy the asteroids that float around.
Luckily you're game is very slick and well done so I didn't have too much feedback. I'll try and sum up the main things. First of all I really like the audio and visuals, the music is great and the game looks and feels good. I said early on that I never play this type of game and so am absolutely terrible at it! Don't think I've played something like this since the original Asteroid. I like the mechanic of controlling the colony as well as your own ship. It's fun and definitely gives more depth to the game than only controlling your own ship. I thought when I upgraded something it was a little hard to tell that it had gone up a level. This may just be me being dumb but the text that said "level 1/5" instead of "level 0/5" was small and I didn't immediately notice the change. I didn't like secondary fire being bound to alt at first but this wasn't so bad when I realised I could use the right side alt gr key instead. It would be nice to be able to change the controls anyway because I'd probably bind primary and secondary fire to left and right click respectively. It took me a little bit of time to work out the yellow health bar was my ship and the green was the colony. I thought that the yellow one was like shields and the green was my ships health or something like that. I still worked this out pretty quick but it wasn't immediately apparent. Overall I thought your game was very slick, professional and well polished, thanks for sending me a key!
Controls are clunky and a small tutorial or tutorial text is needed. starting difficulty is high and resources available seem way to sparse to be able to compete.
